Great location, right next to West Lake. The hotel grounds are beautiful, but unfortunately it was too hot to explore much. The breakfast restaurant has a fantastic ambiance! It's very Shanghainese in style, highly recommended. They even gave me a silk scarf as a checkout gift, which looked like good quality, but I sadly lost it. Recommended! I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Just a few steps out of the hotel are Beishan Street and West Lake, yet inside the villa, you can't hear the urban noise. Private garden experience: The entire villa adopts a typical Jiangnan garden design, with extremely high greenery coverage. A morning stroll through the park offers fresh air and ancient, elegant architecture, making it a beautiful scenic spot in itself, providing a rare sense of tranquility. 🛎️ Meticulous and Warm Professional Service Attention to detail: From the moment of arrival, you can feel the level of service expected from a state guesthouse. The staff's smiles were genuine, their attire appropriate, and check-in was efficient and accurate. Convenient travel: Shuttle carts (electric carts) are always on standby within the park, providing timely transfers. On rainy days, staff proactively offer umbrellas, a thoughtful gesture that is very reassuring. 🛏️ Comfortable and Refined Room Facilities Solid hardware: The room was spotlessly clean, and even the hidden corners stood up to scrutiny. The bedding provided excellent support, and the linens were soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a high-quality sleep. Humanistic care: The room was equipped with exquisite tea sets and high-quality tea. Sitting by the window, brewing a cup of Longjing tea, and gazing at the greenery outside, truly amplified the Hangzhou-specific holiday feeling. 🍽️ Rich and Authentic Dining Experience Abundant breakfast: The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, combining Chinese and Western options. Not only were the ingredients fresh, but authentic local Hangzhou breakfast specialties (such as Pian'erchuan noodles and small wontons) were also available, with the flavors perfectly controlled.

A hidden gem in the city, this hotel truly feels like a home away from home. The atmosphere is grand and elegant, and the location is excellent. Although the rooms are a bit older, they are incredibly well-maintained. The staff are warm and attentive, truly befitting a state guesthouse.

The service was excellent; they provided pick-up and drop-off, and guided us everywhere we needed to go. Breakfast can be enjoyed at 1913. There's a private hiking trail behind the hotel, and a 10-minute walk takes you to the hillside, exclusive to guests. The only minor drawbacks were that the soundproofing was a bit lacking and the facilities were a little dated.

This hotel has great style. However, the shampoo is very watery; even with five or six pumps, it's not enough. This doesn't really match the hotel's standards, so perhaps they could switch to a better shampoo. The ceilings are quite high, and the blackout curtains work well, so I slept soundly. The carpet was a bit dirty and could use regular cleaning. The front desk manager was very warm and friendly. There's a large mountain behind the hotel, perfect for a hike. Breakfast was plentiful.

My family described this hotel as having an 'old-school bureaucratic' vibe everywhere. There's no kids' club because it's under renovation. The charging facilities are barely better than nothing – poor quality and overpriced. It's more than double the price of external chargers, and it's not even a slow charge, it's worse. Aren't such facilities a discredit to the hotel management? The breakfast area also felt temporary; my partner commented, 'It feels like we're at a funeral feast.'... In short, it's a prime location wasted. They should really take a page from Xizi Hotel and the West Lake State Guest House.
