The room was very comfortable and nice. It's right by the riverside, so the view is great, and it's very quiet at night, which is perfect for sleeping.

The location is pretty good, quite convenient for the Binjiang area. It's about a ten-minute drive to Longhu. The only thing is the room was a bit thoughtless – they gave me two conditioners instead of shampoo and conditioner. 😅

Conclusion: This is primarily a business-oriented hotel; it's not quite set up for families. Firstly, I'd noted a request for a river view, and that's what I got. Secondly, while they did provide some stuffed animals and decorations in the family room, there were no bed rails, no step stools for kids, and no children's toiletries – only a toothbrush. Transportation convenience is average; it's only suitable if you're driving or taking a taxi (this hotel doesn't have a doorman, only a front desk). Riverside cycling is nice, but there are a lot of mosquitoes. Finally, the pancakes and buns at breakfast were quite distinctive and not frozen. However, the variety wasn't exceptional.

My stay at the Sheraton Grand Hangzhou Binjiang was fantastic. The room offered expansive views of the river, which was delightful. The hotel amenities were comprehensive and spotless. A special shout-out to Elsie from the Guest Relations team, who was incredibly warm and attentive, providing thoughtful and efficient service. The combination of excellent service and a high-quality environment made for a very satisfying stay. Anne from the follow-up team was also very meticulous and enthusiastic in handling feedback, not just going through the motions. Minor points: There was a little dust on the small shelf next to the toilet paper in the bathroom (deducted half a star). The Marriott brand hair dryers are quite old-fashioned; it would be great if they could be updated (deducted half a star). Overall, everything was excellent~

This hotel by the Qiantang River offers beautiful views. We booked an executive twin room, and the front desk kindly extended our check-out time to 2 PM. You can request to open the windows in the room, and being close to the river, the air is fresh. The executive lounge has a rich variety of food. It's a great choice for a holiday hotel.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Qiantang River, with the Intime shopping mall conveniently located downstairs, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly easy. Christie handled my check-in efficiently with a warm and meticulous attitude. She proactively informed me about the hotel's amenities and helped arrange luggage transport, providing attentive and thorough service throughout. The room I stayed in offered breathtaking views, with curved panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the river. In the evening, I could admire the sunset over the river, and at night, I could enjoy the Qianjiang New City light show right from my bed – truly enhancing the atmosphere. The room was spacious and spotless, cleaned to perfection. The classic Sheraton Sweet Sleeper mattress was soft and comfortable, complemented by a variety of pillows. The soundproofing was exceptional, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any noise disturbance. The bathroom featured a large bathtub and a rain shower, with high-quality toiletries. Soaking in the tub while enjoying the river view was incredibly therapeutic. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, including a heated pool and a river-view gym, both readily available. The breakfast selection was abundant.

The hotel was very clean. The facilities were great, and Yufei Hai at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious and varied.

The room was very satisfying, with good soundproofing. Carl's service was also excellent and thoughtful; he even helped with my luggage.

This is a very old hotel. ① The white ceramic mugs at breakfast, many of them chipped, are still in use. ② The floor lamp in the guest room and the spotlight above the sofa area weren't working, making the whole room very dim. Other lights had issues with their settings; the light by the door would turn on for no reason, and the lighting control logic was strange, disturbing my rest! ③ There was absolutely no service to speak of. The front desk staff spoke too 'softly' during check-in; I couldn't hear them clearly. Older guests definitely wouldn't be able to hear a thing. ④ The long table in the guest room was slightly sunken. ⑤ The curtains didn't provide true blackout. ⑥ Light also seeped through the gaps around the entire door. ⑦ After swimming and showering, only ear swabs and tissues were provided; nothing else that would be considered even slightly thoughtful or considerate was available. Overall, this is a hotel that has long neglected quality control of its guest rooms. It's in a state of disrepair due to age and operates with a management style focused on extreme cost-cutting. Aside from the lobby, which was acceptable, the overall experience is severely inconsistent with its current star rating, brand reputation, and pricing.

The Grand Sheraton is our favorite hotel in Hangzhou. Super clean, smells great, and has awesome breakfast. Carl at the front desk was amazing to work with and recommended asking for him. Great job Carl and The Sheraton!

The hotel's breakfast was exceptionally good, unlike many hotels where breakfast often feels pre-made. I highly recommend the yellow croaker noodles and the pork and scallion buns for breakfast. The hotel's location is also excellent, with plenty of restaurants and a riverside promenade just downstairs. I'll definitely be back next time.

To avoid the crowds at West Lake, we opted for a family leisure trip to Xianghu Lake in Xiaoshan and the Qiantang River. I pre-booked a high-floor river-view room with a large window and a deluxe room, and left a note on Trip.com requesting the hotel to place both rooms as close as possible for easier care of my elderly parents. Upon check-in, the front desk attendant, Ariel, confirmed they had received our Trip.com request. Not only did she arrange the rooms next to each other, but she also upgraded our deluxe room to a river-view room. The two rooms even had a connecting door that could be closed for privacy – absolutely perfect for a family trip! 😄 The room views were excellent, and the breakfast at the 2F restaurant was good, especially the handmade buns. Even though I don't usually eat steamed buns, I grabbed one every day. It's also worth mentioning that a side door from the second-floor breakfast area leads to a hotel platform, which then connects directly to the riverside walkway (with excellent accessible facilities). My 90-year-old mother could easily navigate it with her wheelchair. Considering my mother's safety in the shower, I messaged Ariel (whose WeChat I added during check-in; she said we could contact her for any needs during our stay) to see if the hotel could provide a suitable shower chair for the elderly. She quickly coordinated it for us – many thanks! The hotel's underground parking had ample spaces and direct, accessible access to the lobby. Binding our license plate for free, convenient entry and exit during our stay was also a plus. P.S. This trip to Xiaoshan made me feel like it's an underrated gem overshadowed by West Lake. Xianghu Lake, a 20-minute drive away, is tranquil and pleasant. We booked a private dining room for dinner and even got to watch the Xianghu Yayun performance show for free. The China Animation Museum, about 10 minutes from the hotel, is also well worth a visit (the 10 am public guided tour was particularly detailed and interactive, and the 3D immersive viewing experience on the 4th floor was fantastic!).

The hotel is right by the river, and the night view from there is stunning. It's also not far to drive to West Lake, which helps avoid holiday traffic.
