Hangzhou Miyin Chanheyuan (Xihu Lingyin Temple)

I made this last-minute trip specifically to climb Feilai Peak and visit the God of Wealth Temple. After landing, I took the subway directly to Wuliankou. Coincidentally, the government had temporarily closed the road, preventing private cars from going up the mountain. Thankfully, the guesthouse thoughtfully arranged a pick-up and drop-off service, saving me from a tiring uphill hike – truly heartwarming! 👍 The guesthouse is nestled within the Lingyin Scenic Area, boasting an unbeatable location. It’s very close to the 'No. 1 Temple of the God of Wealth in the World' and conveniently located for visiting attractions like Lingyin Temple. Although the temple is currently undergoing renovations and is temporarily closed, the divine spirit remains, and sincere devotion is always answered. 🙏 Being in the West Lake Scenic Area, the surroundings are truly serene and beautiful, with lush green mountains and forests, exuding a strong Zen ambiance. Upon check-in, I received a complimentary sweet soup, which was warm and refreshing, instantly washing away the fatigue from my journey. The next day's breakfast was elaborate and exquisite, full of ritual. The guesthouse also arranged a car to take me down the mountain for my return journey – it was simply wonderful! The entire stay far exceeded my expectations. For anyone coming to Lingyin for worship or a short mountain retreat, choosing this place is hassle-free and restorative. Highly recommended!

I chose this hotel because I planned to visit Lingyin Temple in the morning. The exterior courtyard has a very serene, Zen-like atmosphere, and the interior decor is also quite nice. Since vehicles are restricted inside the area, I inquired about transportation in advance. They have a shuttle bus service to pick up and drop off guests outside the scenic area, which is a thoughtful touch. It was also very close for an early morning trip to the temple. Breakfast is a set menu with a good variety of options. The only downside is the lack of an elevator, but the front desk staff helped carry my luggage, which was very kind of them.

Extremely close to Lingyin Temple and very convenient for visiting West Lake. The environment is great, and the breakfast is abundant. Staying here, I felt so relaxed and at ease. They also offer shuttle service. Highly recommended!

A surprisingly wonderful stay! The environment is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, and we even got complimentary late-night snacks. Breakfast was delicious and exquisitely prepared. The attention to detail here is truly impressive; it's clear this hotel puts a lot of thought into everything. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience! The environment is serene and peaceful, and it's just a few hundred meters from Lingyin Temple. The view from the window is lovely, and the room itself is clean, tidy, and very spacious. The Chinese breakfast was plentiful, and we even saw a family of three squirrels 🐿️ on a tree in the courtyard! We also got to try a bracelet 📿 DIY. The service was excellent too!

This is my second stay, and I love the Zen-inspired decor. I was so pleasantly surprised to see two squirrels 🐿 in the tree hollow by the entrance!

Had a wonderful stay here! The location is super close to Lingyin Temple, which saved us the trouble of not being able to get a taxi into the main area early in the morning. It's just a pleasant 10-minute walk to Lingyin. Remember to book your park entry tickets in advance! Both the breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. The seasonal sweet soup on the first night was delicious and light. The afternoon tea set was beautiful and tasty, and we even spotted some little squirrels! I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Aside from the slightly dated decor in the rooms, everything else was good. It's a Zen-inspired hotel with a pleasant atmosphere.
