This hotel is great for a vacation, though the air in the rooms isn't the best, possibly due to its age and location in the mountains. (It smells a bit musty.) However, the oxygen content is high, making for a very comfortable sleep. A leisurely stroll around the lake is also very pleasant. The lake-view seating at breakfast is absolutely fantastic, and enjoying breakfast while watching the sunrise is a truly unique experience. The downside is that breakfast itself is a bit underwhelming; the semi-buffet set menu feels a bit haphazard. The crayfish noodles with thirteen-spice seasoning didn't hit the mark, and the portion of noodles was too large. I'd suggest offering a smaller portion option. The chef for dinner was excellent! The oil and salt levels were perfectly controlled, and the flavors were spot-on. The braised shrimp, stir-fried eel with scallion oil, and stir-fried loofah were all incredibly authentic. My only slight regret is that the hotel's own landscaping and small environment aren't as good as they could be (due to design and planning).

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

An out of the world place which once u stay there it's like you are cut off from the rest of the world

This trip was a family vacation, and if you're looking for a secluded getaway where time seems to slow down, Fuchun Resort is absolutely worth a special journey. It's not just a hotel, but an immersive experience of nature, art, and life. The service team is professional and thoughtful; from the butler to the concierge, they remember guests' preferences, truly embodying the subtle yet profound Eastern hospitality tradition.

The suite is well-arranged, cozy, and comfortable. The furniture perfectly complements the room. The bathroom is spacious with a sophisticated design. The room overlooks a pond with four camphor trees, which is a perfect design touch. The restaurant is exquisitely designed, and both the Chinese and Western cuisine are delicious, on par with high-end restaurants like T8 in Shanghai Xintiandi. The swimming pool is beautiful and clean.

The scenery is pleasant, the design is elegant, the environment is livable, and the service is friendly. The food is exquisite, making you feel right at home. Plus, the photographer at the boutique shop is incredibly skilled. I got a lot out of this stay! Thumbs up!

The environment is excellent, and the hotel has a beautiful design with scenic views everywhere. The staff are warm and attentive. The only minor drawback was that the golf driving range wasn't open to guests. Breakfast was rich and exquisite. Overall, the hotel is of very high quality.

An excellent stay! All the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, and the butler service was a standout. Our butler, Wendy, provided attentive care throughout our visit. The hotel's design is stunning, with countless sculptures, Buddha statues, and ceramic art pieces, all exuding a strong Chinese aesthetic. They even had festive red decorations for the ***** New Year! The hotel offers a wide range of activities, and both the breakfast and the food at Da Cheng Xiao Chi restaurant were delicious. We also enjoyed the hotel's photography service; they offered costume rentals, and the photographer was very skilled. We'll definitely be back!

Pros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated. Cons: 1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink. 2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience. Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

My expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular. The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite. The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent. Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

We chose a balcony room and the view was absolutely beautiful. Our butler, Wendy, was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel staff also demonstrated a strong service ethic. The pool was stunning, and the splash pad was perfect for the little ones, with warm water. There's also a hot spring that you can book with your butler. Plus, there are many activities available for booking, like cycling, hiking, and golf course tours. Highly recommend!

I really love this hotel; it has a lot of character with its Chinese-style design. There are also plenty of activities offered, such as mountain hiking, calligraphy sessions at Fuchun Pavilion, and practicing Baduanjin, so you never feel bored. A special thanks to Benson, our butler, for his responsive and quick service. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next vacation!

The breakfast at Da Chi Xiao Guan was amazing! There were so many activities throughout the day at Shanjuj, and the butler service was incredibly thoughtful.
