Hampton by Hilton Properties in Hangzhou

I did a research of hotels in Hangzhou and my personal preference maybe a little different from others but this location is super. It’s very close by the Hangzhou Tradition Chinese Medicine Hospital, and 2 mins walk to a shopping area whereby I can buy myself duty free cosmetics/others if needed. There’s food readily available at the back lane and I highly recommend a noodle shop right behind this hotel (photo below). It is a 20 mins walk to the Wulin Night Market and from Wulin Night Market you can also walk to West Lake. As I love to walk and explore around, location is perfect. The rooms are very clean, neat, bed is also super comfortable. Mr Wan at the front desk was very patient and helpful even while he was shorthanded he still remained calm and handled each situation with professionalism. The restaurant staff need 70% more service training as there were 2 females there who had attitude problems. However a little more training in mannerisms can help them change. On the whole, I will still book this hotel whenever I come to Hangzhou!

The hotel is conveniently located, with a subway and bus station downstairs, making it very convenient to get around and take a taxi. Huilan at the front desk provided very good service, upgraded the room type, the room was spacious, well maintained overall, with dry and wet separation, and a good night's sleep. The overall feeling is very good, small and beautiful, and the price/performance ratio is very OK

I came here for a concert at Big Lotus. The hotel is conveniently located, about 3 km from the venue and just two subway stops away. The room was spacious, featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows. In summer, the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool. The facilities were well-appointed. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. The breakfast was also very extensive.

Loved this hotel! The room was spotless, and the breakfast spread was particularly impressive. They even upgraded our room for free when they saw we had a child, and the sofa easily converted into a bed. The front desk staff, especially the handsome gentleman, was super friendly and provided excellent service. We had a really pleasant stay! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the front desk also provided complimentary bottled water and snacks. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Hangzhou.

Hilton is a brand I generally prefer, and this stay at Hampton by Hilton in the city center was better than expected. The in-room amenities were quite new and clean. Breakfast offered a good variety, but it was a bit rough around the edges. I was surprised they didn't even bother to cut (or tear) the lettuce leaves, and some had marks on them, suggesting they weren't picked fresh that day? The fried eggs were cold, and there was only one person working behind the counter, probably due to staffing cuts... I guess this is just how things are these days 😇. Sorry for the little rant! Also, the placement of the hand soap dispenser was truly bizarre. How are you supposed to get soap on your hands without moving the tissue box? See picture.

My business trip stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The cleanliness and environment were top-notch; the rooms received meticulous daily housekeeping, and the bedding was immaculately pressed with no odors. The bathroom was spotless, with a dry-wet separation and proper disinfection, and even the carpets in the common areas were pristine. The service was incredibly professional; check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were both professional and enthusiastic. The room attendant was always available, and I even received coffee and snacks when working late. The facilities were perfectly tailored for business needs: high-speed Wi-Fi was available throughout and never lagged, the conference rooms were equipped with advanced facilities, the 24-hour gym had well-maintained equipment, and there was even a laundry room, which was incredibly convenient for business travel. Whether it's for business discussions or relaxation, this hotel perfectly meets all needs. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the city!

The accommodation is quiet. The breakfast varieties of steamed buns, fried dough sticks, wontons and dumplings can have fewer pre-made products.

Clean and quiet, with a beautiful view from the window of the room. But as the period of stay is just the summer holiday of China's school, other tourists who stay with family in other rooms on the same floor make noise until 12:00 am in the late night. We called the room service around 11:00 pm, but until 12:00 am the noise was still loud even out of the door of the room. Before we checked out we talked about this matter with the front disk and they kindly apologized for that and gave us a little gift for that. Very nice.

I give full mark on the service because the front desk allow us to check in early. Location is good, the Asia Game stadium and riverside walk is within walking distance. Going around town and tourist spots like west lake is within 30min by DiDi. Only dissatisfaction I got with this hotel is the gym. I understand not every hotel gym come with weight machines, but can you at least make sure the dumb bells set is a complete with full range of weight, not just 4, 10, 14, 18, 22kg.

A very nice, quiet & basic hotel but a bit far from the city center. It doesn’t really matter if you are able to use the local app for cab and doesn’t mind paying ~¥50 each trip. The staff were nice and helpful. She helped ordered delivery food when all options are not available past midnight. Quite cool that you can even wash your clothes here. It’s really a value for money staying here.
