Our 14th-floor room had a sea view, and the service was quite good. The pool also offered a beautiful view of Ha Long Bay. Breakfast was decent, too. The hotel is located in the new town, which makes getting around convenient, and it's not far from the pier.

We had a wonderful stay at Watson Premium Ha Long Bay as a couple. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful views, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A great choice for couples looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Thank you! The environment is great, and the rooftop pool is a nice touch. The breakfast spread is also quite good. However, I found the check-in process to be less than friendly towards Chinese guests. Plus, there was an extra charge for bringing a child, and the worst part is that once booked, the reservation was non-refundable, which I was very unhappy about. The other facilities are good, and they seem to treat guests from other countries well.

This stay felt more like 4 star than 5 star. The service was excellent from the reception, with staff making a special effort to check we were happy with everything. Jenny in particular made an effort to visit guests during breakfast to check on everything. There was a strange group of guests staying there, when we arrived the place was crazy and noisy with children running everywhere. We are family and we would not allow this to happen in such a small space. Also we came across some quite rough looking guests... On a few different occasions... a bit daunting, and made us cautious about our stay there. I don't know why this was...very strange. The breakfast had a good selection, however I dont think the building itself us designed to allow for so many guests. It was so busy and hard to move around the buffet or get your food. The restaurant food was nice, the service was slow. We waited about 1 hour for our food whilst other guests who arrived after us were served before us. I guess Asian food is faster to cook but this wait does not make you feel valued. The rooftop pool is nice, but again very crowded. More of a drink and party atmosphere rather than quiet and relaxing. The area itself doesn't have much to explore. A few restaurants, but it's quite empty. However the location is very convenient for HaLong bay excursions. Overall the stay was okay, but I think next time we would stay in Hanoi and just do a day trip from there.

This is a beautiful hotel, exactly as described. The bay view is stunning. Breakfasts are good. The pool is small, but perfect for cooling off in the heat.
