The room I booked offered a view of the snow-capped mountains. Even in summer, it's a fantastic place to visit, I absolutely loved it here. There was an older gentleman, probably a manager, who provided excellent service – he was incredibly warm and enthusiastic!

The hotel's location is excellent, with snow-capped peaks visible from the room. The staff are warm and attentive, and there's a car service available to take guests to the station.

This was my first time staying at the Hakuba Hotel, and I'm so glad I chose it for my three-night stay. **Location:** It's a convenient 5-minute walk from Snow Peak Land. If you're coming by bus from Nagano, you can get off at that stop and walk to the hotel. **Breakfast and Dinner:** The food was delicious, healthy, and nourishing. While there weren't lavish meat dishes, the variety was excellent and very nutritious. **Hotel Facilities:** The room facilities were a bit old, but the cleanliness was acceptable. You can enjoy mountain views from the room, which gives it a real vacation feel. The hot spring water was also very good. Plus, there's a free shuttle bus every day to various attractions. I also highly recommend the homemade apple juice sold at the hotel – it's naturally delicious! 😋

Very nice place to stay! We stayed here for 4 nights during our snow trip. Kettle and microwave available in the room. Provide free brekkie during your stay. Laundry facilities available (2 washing machine and 2 dryer) Onsen and locker room available however there's a charge for it (we paid 1200 yen for 2 people for 4 nights which is acceptable! )

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. There's a self-service UCC coffee machine in the lobby with free refills. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the large windows offered fantastic views of the snowy landscape. Our room was fully equipped for cooking, with a stove, sink, microwave, fridge, and kettle – everything you need to prepare your own dinner if you're on vacation. If you're driving, there's a large supermarket just a minute or two away. Plus, there's a hot spring bath, which is perfect for soaking away fatigue after skiing. They also offer free parking and ski equipment rental, which was both good quality and reasonably priced. If I ever visit Hakuba again, I'd definitely choose this hotel.

Mostly clean, and the restaurant was decent. The location isn't very convenient though, with no dining options nearby. The front desk staff weren't helpful with problems, but the security guards and the driver (an older gentleman) were very enthusiastic. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Pros: The hotel's front desk staff were very welcoming and meticulously explained transportation options to attractions. Cons: The facilities are old and outdated, and the food ingredients are really low-quality. The dining staff are all from India and Pakistan, and their Japanese is terrible. At a price of over 1500 yuan, the value for money is very poor, and I even found mosquitoes in the room.

The view outside the window was absolutely stunning! It's not far from the station, the jumping platform, and the ski lifts. We walked along the river, facing Mount Hakuba, and had such a wonderful time!

Service in general is good, except manner of one young man who’s rude, while another westerner-looking gentleman is very helpful and nice!

Amazing hotel, breakfast and dinner options were great! We stayed in winter and the view from our room was breathtaking

My wife and I had an excellent stay at hotel hakuba. It was easy for us to access the neighbouring ski resorts using the free shuttle bus provided by the ski resorts. The breakfast had a good spread and an even better view. One negative feedback is that the beds in the double room is quite uncomfortable.

A no frills hotel though the location is quite good. Hotel staff was not very helpful when we were struggling with big luggages and they stood there watching us with smiles! 😂

Excellent value for money, and the room even has a small kitchen.

Lovely place, it is very clean, super warm, the staff are very friendly and the buffet is very good. I would recommend dinner more than breakfast as they have more options then. BEWARE: While the rooms are advertised as “mountain view” and while you can see the mountain from the rooms, it is DEFINITELY NOT the same images that are advertised online. The photo below is the view from our window, and while it is cloudy, there’s a massive building and half a roof blocking our view. This means that not every room is mountain view, so book carefully.
