The hotel was easy to find you could see the hotel from Hakoneyumoto train station.But it is not smooth to get to because you had to climb up highly slope and stairs.But the hotel itself was very nice and very cozy. There was foot bath at the ground area of the hotel and you could use it free of charge.For the front desk you had to climb up to check in.The room was big and clean. Shared toilet wasn't a problem because it located just opposite your room and enough . During we stayed there we had never queued for the toilet. Outdoor onsen was the excellent thing of staying here.Noted that you have to climb up many stairs to get it but it worth for. This hotel was the most favorite for me.If I have a chance to come back I will choose this hotel. Highly recommended for one who is healthy to climb the stairs.

The hotel is very nice and have Japanese+Western Style. We really like the atmoshere and the owner, Mr.Kashiwabara and his wife are very nice to us. He introduced us many things and also drive us to the train station on the next day. The facilities in house has everything you need. We enjoy the onsen very much and the water is mineral and clean. We hope to go back again. Thank you very much.

Great host, friendly and welcoming despite his limited English. Rainy season despite being early Nov, unfortunately hence only us in the Inn. Host sent us to our first stop of the day eg Happond, Bus terminal. Walking distance from bus terminal, but a distance from train station affordable taxi fare if needed.
