Facilities: As expected from a century-old garden, it's a truly exquisite Japanese style. The room even has a private hot spring, and it's incredibly clean! A germaphobe's dream! Hygiene: Extremely clean, and the yukata (robe) was very comfortable. Don't even get me started on the food – it was beyond amazing, with two different meals a day. The service was superb too! Environment: Very comfortable and quiet. I especially loved the garden; I imagine it would be even more beautiful during autumn when the maple leaves change. Service: Excellent! The front desk staff even remembered me by face.

The staff were so kind and attentive, which made for a really enjoyable trip. The location is also great, less than a 10-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station.

The hotel's location is excellent. The bus to Owakudani leaves right in front of the hotel. However, there was no snow, so the outdoor views from the hotel weren't particularly appealing, just mountains and bare branches. Since we didn't opt for a meal, the two futons were already laid out for us quite early.

The room was fine, and the service was good.

The location was amazing right when you get off from Shinjuku - the amenities are nice and the staff helpful. Just note that checkout is at 10:00AM and getting a late one requires you to pay. A bit pricey, but not in comparison to other options in Hakone.

Friendly staff, great location, spotless clean. Dinner and breakfast were great. Spa facilities are great too.

The hotel has a beautiful environment, especially the Japanese garden 🏡 which is incredibly picturesque. Even though it's winter, the plum blossoms and cherry blossoms 🌸 in the courtyard are already in bloom, making for a pleasant stroll. There are also many cultural relics. The guest rooms are a bit dated, and the facilities are just average.

Amazing hotel and walking distance from the train station. Staff are accommodating and the room is SUPERB!!! AMAZING I am just in awe and with the facilities as well. The outdoor onsen is amazing, very relaxing and just gives you a different vibe from the indoor onsen.

We stayed in a few Ryokans but this Yoshiike Ryokan is the best because the room have large window that allow fresh mountain air to flow into the room and the futons are incredibly comfortable and warmed. We came in January when the weather dropped to 0c and the room had heaters. The onsen is beautiful and natural. My wife loved the gardens. And the receptionists are very polite and happy. We loved happy people that makes your money well spend. Will come back in the winter.

The lady at the front desk spoke incredibly fast, regardless of whether you understood her or not. She quickly scribbled on a piece of paper, rapidly fulfilling her duty to inform, clearly a very indifferent person. When the air conditioner started in the room, it sounded like a turbocharger; the equipment is old. In the morning, a broadcast came on in the room, asking people to go to the parking lot (it seemed to be related to a fire). I quickly got dressed and ran to the front desk, only to be told that it was a false alarm due to a faulty fire prevention device. The above are the facts. My opinion is that this place is terrible. The facilities are old, and the service is poor. ❌

Hotel facilities is great. Onsen is great. However the service is average. Hotel breakfast is not available most of the time (our trip in Dec 25-27)

The room was huge, easily accommodating a dozen people. The garden was beautifully maintained. Although the room itself was a bit dated, overall, we were very satisfied with everything. The free drinks at the coffee bar were a nice touch, and the kids absolutely loved it.

The staff at front desk is very nice and helpful. He provided detailed answers to all my requests. The onsen room is big and onsen is very soothing.
