Family trip. Very satisfying stay. All the staff are so helpful and nice. The hotel is a bit hidden but this is what we are looking for escaping from the crowds. The room and public areas are extremely clean. You will feel the peaceful vibes once you entered the place. Highly recommended for those who are aiming for a relax and zen trip.

This onsen hotel in Hakone, Japan offered great value for money. I unfortunately missed breakfast as I woke up too late to experience it. It would have been great if they offered a shuttle service, even a paid one, as they only provide luggage delivery.

It’s strategically located at the far end of Hakone, yet still close to Owakudani and other popular spots, making it convenient for sightseeing without being caught in the busiest areas—especially if you’re driving. The neighborhood is filled with excellent food options within walking distance, which really adds to the charm of staying here. The early check‑out at 10 am feels a little restrictive (and we usually check in late after exploring), but the overall experience more than makes up for it. Easily one of the best ryokan experiences I’ve ever had. The ryokan is super spacious, quiet, and clean! Opposite the ryokan is a 7-Eleven, which is very convenient if you need anything. The onsen is very authentic, you can tell by the smell of sulphur. Both indoor and outdoor onsens are available as well.

Beyond the spacious room, there's nothing remarkable about this place. For the price, it's quite far out and they don't even offer a shuttle service. The hot springs can't compare to those at older Yumoto hotels, and there's no complimentary late-night snack (many budget hotels at least offer a bowl of soba noodles). Breakfast has limited options and isn't good at all; frankly, it's quite disappointing.

Had an amazing stay at BLISSTIA Hakone Sengokuhara. The hotel atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful nature and perfect for a getaway in Hakone. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with modern Japanese design touches that made the stay extra special. The onsen experience was excellent — quiet, soothing, and very well maintained. Staff were kind, attentive, and provided wonderful hospitality throughout the stay. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hakone and looking for a relaxing luxury experience. This modern, minimalist onsen hotel in Hakone Sengokuhara is fantastic! The staff speak English, and it's super convenient to get around with a bus stop right outside, perfect for visiting the nearby museums. The rooms are comfortable and come with a balcony and a kitchen. We stayed two nights and booked dinner both times. One night we had an incredible American-style steak delivered to our room – seriously, it was as good as Wolfgang's! The other night we enjoyed a wonderful Japanese-French fusion dinner, and the waitstaff explained every dish. A truly wonderful stay!
