JIAXING SENBO NATURE PARK & RESORT

Our stay at Kaiyuan Senbo Hotel in Nanbeihu, Jiaxing, was an absolutely amazing experience, perfect for families and especially those with infants! The hotel's setting is superb, nestled within the Nanbeihu scenic area. It's surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful lake views, with a tranquil and pleasant garden. The resort is quite large, but a free shuttle service makes getting around effortless, even with a stroller. It's wonderful for leisurely walks and enjoying the fresh air. The family-friendly facilities are excellent. The indoor 'Fantasy Island' and the year-round heated water park are fantastic, and the fully padded design ensures high safety for kids. There are plenty of pet interactions and parent-child activities, giving parents a much-needed break. I particularly want to highlight how well-suited it is for infants. They provide complimentary cribs, playpens, and baby toiletries. The resort has well-equipped nursing rooms, and the restaurants offer baby food (though I don't recommend the 68 RMB portion at Yanlai Xuan; the breakfast buffet has many great options for little ones). Traveling with young children here is completely stress-free. Nanbeihu Lake is right on your doorstep; you can walk to it from the hotel's west gate. The lakeside boardwalk, strolls by the water, and boat tours are all easily accessible. The scenic mountains and water create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, making it ideal for a short getaway. Just outside the west gate, there's also a deer camp, but that's an additional charge. The hotel even offered a complimentary travel photoshoot! There was no upselling, and the photos turned out beautifully – I couldn't resist adding a few more! Finally, I must give a huge shout-out to our dedicated butler, Puff! Her service was outstanding, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Before arrival, she proactively shared a guide and explained activity routes. During our stay, she was incredibly responsive, arranging baby essentials and ensuring we had a suitable room. Any request was handled immediately, making our entire stay wonderfully happy. Overall, the facilities, environment, and service are all top-notch, offering great value for money. It's our first choice for a family getaway and is already on our list for a second visit. Highly recommended for families!

Excellent Family-Friendly Facilities: Boasts a Fantasy Island Kids' Paradise, a water park (heated year-round), and a petting zoo, making it a typical 'parents-free' hotel for kids. 2. Attentive Service Details: The butler service is a major highlight. They proactively add you on WeChat the day before check-in to offer travel tips and help book photography sessions. 3. Unique Experience: This is the first Senbo resort where you can enjoy hot springs, featuring the Xihe Hot Spring Center (including indoor/outdoor pools, saunas, etc.). 4. Diverse Accommodation Options: Besides standard rooms in the main building, there are unique room types like water cottages, elf mushroom houses, and lakeside castles. 5. Other Activities: Every Friday and Saturday evening, the hotel's outdoor music plaza hosts bonfires and performances. ⚠️ Things to Note / Potential Pitfalls 1. Crowds During Peak Season: Expect large crowds on holidays or weekends. Shuttle buses might require queuing, and you might encounter people cutting in line during check-in. 2. Room Type Recommendation: If you're not planning to stay in the hotel all the time, I recommend choosing a room in the main building, such as the Senbo Terrace King Room/Twin Room. The kids' paradise, various play facilities, and dining options are all located in the main building. Wood cabins, courtyard water cottages, etc., are all quite a distance from the main building and require shuttle transfers. Personally, I found it very inconvenient for getting around, especially with a stroller. 💡 Summary Advice If you're a family with children or a couple looking for an all-inclusive, hassle-free 'eat, stay, and play' experience, this is an excellent choice. However, if you're seeking extreme quiet or are particularly sensitive to room cleanliness details, I suggest avoiding peak season or opting for newly renovated room types.

A few of the twin rooms with balconies face the outdoor air conditioning units downstairs, making the balcony a bit noisy. If this bothers you, I recommend noting it when booking. Everything was perfect after we switched to a loft room. Our butler, Puff, was very attentive and always available to help – highly recommend! The environment at the Whimsical Glamping site within the park is nice, but the service can be a bit slow. During holidays, they struggle when multiple tables are busy at once, and we almost didn't get our food. The surrounding area is great; you could easily spend two or three days here.

I was really satisfied with my stay at the Senbo Hotel. The room was clean and a good size. After staying in parent-child hotels abroad, I have to say, the ones in China are really reliable! They have everything for kids: children's shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers. The mini-bar even had milk 🥛 along with adult drinks, which was perfect since my child drinks milk at night. It was fantastic! We chose the 'Fantasy Island' ticket, and my child loved it, didn't want to leave. The breakfast on the second day was also varied. I hear they have water activities in the summer. I really want to come back then!

More than just a family-friendly hotel, this is a truly healing getaway. The environment is quiet and beautiful, with picturesque scenes at every turn, perfect for photos. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with great lighting and views. Hot springs, an amusement park, and delicious food are all available in one place, so you can have a fulfilling and relaxing time without rushing. The 'Puff' butler service is gentle and attentive, always ready to help. It's especially suitable for family trips or small gatherings with friends.

Choosing Kaiyuan Senbo for our holiday trip was an excellent decision! Even though there were many people, everything was well-organized, which didn't affect our enjoyment at all. We stayed in a two-story boathouse with lovely lake views right outside our window, offering a high level of comfort. The park is suitable for children of all ages. Our butler, Paofou, provided fantastic and very thoughtful service, even giving us a small gift upon check-out. The breakfast was also very abundant, and the mini-train around the lake was a great hit. It's definitely worth a second or third visit! This three-day, two-night getaway at Kaiyuan Senbo Hotel in Jiaxing included hot spring tickets for our family of four with a simple meal, access to Fantasy Island Amusement Park for the whole family, and the attentive service of our butler, Paofou. We also received complimentary souvenirs for the children and tokens for the Top Player arcade games. The sunny weather made the trip even more delightful.

My family stayed here, and the staff reached out in advance to ask about their check-in needs. They found out my family was bringing a child and thoughtfully helped arrange a bed rail. The room also had toiletries for kids, and the hot spring center was very relaxing. After checking out, they even received a small gift. My friends were very happy, and the overall experience was good. I'll definitely visit next time!
