Gelaiden Smart Hotel (Haikou Qilou Old Street Donghu)

Great location, right next to Nanyang Old Dad's Tea House. The room was spacious and well-designed, with a table and chairs. Laundry service was available. It's only a 5-minute electric scooter ride to Qilou Old Street. Highly recommended, good value for money. A friendly suggestion: the room's cleanliness could be improved with more attention to detail.

The staff, especially Dai Dai, provided excellent, efficient, and thoughtful service. They patiently answered all our questions. We had a perfect service experience and highly recommend them!

Facilities: Well-equipped. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Decent. Service: Good. It's a smart room, but there aren't many controllable features. The TV can't cast, which is a minor downside. As long as you don't get room 001, it's fine. The only real issue is that the price is a bit high.

I have to give a huge shout-out to this hotel's cleanliness! The moment I walked in, the air felt so fresh, with absolutely no musty or strange odors. The room was spacious and bright, and the separate desk, chairs, and sofa made excellent use of the space. The smart home features throughout were very modern and easy to use. The slippers, in particular, were a great touch – individually sealed and even smelled like disinfectant, completely free of any foot odor. These kinds of details really earn extra points!

Plus, it’s close to Qilou Old Street, making it easy to stroll around and grab some late-night snacks.

We brought the kids to Ocean Park for Dragon Boat Festival and stayed at this hotel overnight. It was pretty great! The room was clean and odorless, spacious and very comfortable. The smart home system was super convenient; we could control the TV and AC just by talking. There was a faint, pleasant lemon scent in the room, which was really nice. The shower stall was quite large with a good wet/dry separation, and the smart toilet was a real bonus – no need to touch anything, it was more convenient than I ever imagined!
