Shikikan Saito

I've been interested in this hotel for a long time because it had high reviews. This time, I used it for the first time when I traveled around North Tohoku. Although I went there with high expectations, some facilities were unsatisfactory or disappointing, but this was a wonderful inn that did not disappoint. The room, food, bath, and service were all top notch. The faucet in the washroom was a little difficult to use, but other than that, I didn't feel any particular inconvenience. This was a heartwarming inn that made me want to visit again.

Stayed in the room "Wataboshi" with an open-air bath. The amenities in the guest room are perfect, except for the washroom, which seems to have not been made into a double sink due to the installation of a refrigerator. The inside of the building is full of folk crafts and other stylish interiors made by the proprietress, and there are plenty of places to play such as the Danburi teahouse (which is unfortunately closed in winter), the forest relaxation area (used for researching Morioka sightseeing), and the library. is fun. The popular dinner, where you can choose the main dish, was very satisfying in terms of quality, and I'm sorry that the senior couple left even a small course. The hot springs (carried from Hachimantai Onsen), which are not free-flowing hot springs, were fully satisfied with the atmosphere of the large public baths and the comfortable open-air baths. For anniversary trips, the service is even better, transforming a 30-year-old ski inn into an incredible food inn. The only drawback is the inconvenience of public transportation, Hanawa Line.

Stayed one night in mid-July. This inn is called a ryokan inn, and the food was especially delicious. I was impressed that the regular course menu included Hirasawa beef steak, pottery-steamed salmon, and three large steamed abalones. Also, the presentation of the menu was good and I enjoyed it with my eyes. The large public bath is relatively large, and the open-air bath has a sense of openness, so I was able to relax. I think the room was probably the smallest room, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. I think this is a very cost-effective ryokan for those who place importance on cooking.

It's only one night, but I feel like I'm getting three days worth of hot spring cure. The footbath is good, the food is good, and when you take a hot spring bath, you can see the glimmering lights of cars on the highway.

I was curious about it, but I didn't have a chance to go, so I was finally able to visit Shikikan Saifuyu. This time, we had dinner and breakfast in a room with an open-air bath and a dining room. The dinner was quite large, so I left the last meal and had it made into a rice ball for a late-night snack. Breakfast was a buffet, but I had a Japanese set meal and had it in my room. The food was delicious and satisfying, just like the reviews say. The room was very easy to use and felt good sense. I was able to take it easy and relax. The staff were very nice and helpful. It has become a place I want to visit again.

①温泉のお湯がとても肌になじんですべすべになりました。私は乾燥肌のために、乾燥する季節、足はもちろん背中も搔き傷がありますたが、宿の1泊で、夕方、夜、朝と３回温泉に入ったらすべすべになりました。 ②夕食は部屋食で贅沢。メイン３品が選べるコースで、ステーキや、しゃぶしゃぶがついて豪華な食事が次々とでてこのお値段には驚きです。どれも美味しくいただきました。 ③朝食がおいしい。食べてばかりですが、バイキング形式の朝食も地元の食材を、地元の手料理で頂きました。ごはんと具沢山のお味噌尻がおいしいですね。また小鉢に、イクラ、温泉*、山菜、etc...数え切れなく来にご飯のお供があり、おなか一杯になりました。 ④スタッフの方がみんな優しく、丁寧で、また行きたくなりました。おすすめです。スタッフの皆さんありがとうございました。
