Amazing
AAndrew_okOverall, I really liked the hotel. The location is excellent; our room (No. 217) had a direct view of the Old Town, and all the main attractions were within easy walking distance. The metro station was also close by. The rooms were well-equipped, and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly, and there were no issues with Russian speakers.
The only real downside was the old stains on the upholstered furniture and carpets; for a hotel of this caliber, it was quite uncomfortable. On the bright side, though, there are flocks of parrots flying around right next door in the park by the Philharmonic! So, all in all, we recommend this hotel!
GGuest UserI booked Fly in Baku hotel for my parents, and they were absolutely delighted with their stay. Everything was perfect from the moment they arrived until the day they checked out. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and quiet – exactly what you need for a relaxing trip. The hotel itself has a very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere that made them feel at ease right away.
What really made their stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. A very special thanks goes to Mr. Jafar Jabarov, who went above and beyond to make sure my parents had the best experience possible. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. He made them feel cared for and at home throughout their stay. I highly recommend Fly in Baku to anyone visiting Baku. If you are looking for a hotel that combines comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service, this is the perfect place. My parents returned with only good memories, and we are very grateful to the entire team.
GGuest UserThis was the best stay out of all three booking I had. The staff spoke English, they were empathetic and friendly. I would definitely book again. The rooms were crisp, tidy and had all the necessary daily life items. Iron, hairdryer. Their buffet was amazing from brekky to lunch. Lots of variety and non stop food. 11 out of 10 🤪
AAnastasia.AroundTheWorldBeautiful building, but there are many things to improve.
”+”
1. Very beautiful view from the seaview room, you can see the whole city
2. Personnel is polite and helpful
3. Not so far from the center, nice area around, easy to get by taxi
4. The room is spacious and clean, with nice bathroom.
5. In room dining is good.

1. I booked this hotel knowing Fairmont from other countries (stayed there) and the level here is down.
2. If you call and ask something, not very fast response. Ihad to wait very long for help with luggage at check out.
3. The price is expensive for the level you get.
4. The spa area which for me was important was old, needs modernisation. Sauna wood is dangerously falling apart, the jacuzzi in the pool have handles that are moving a lot, almost detached, stain in the pool is not cleaned. There is no supervision in the pool, some people enter without shower.
5. I booked for the sun and external pool, but its down in between the buildings, so no sun after lunch and its very windy.
Overall the hotel is good, but many things that ruin the impression.
GGuest UserAmazing stay , excellent service from the reception above above excellence ! ,The location is perfect everything is a walk a way ! Perfect hotel .. the only issue is the housekeeping they dont clean they only arrange .. I faced issue with the toilet and noticed that its wasnt cleaned at all! Even the room tissue box was empty they didnt fill it they didnt notice because they dont clean even when I requested tissue box it was kept a side not in the tissue box container .. However, receptionist are always eager to help and assist they even offer the cleaning service mid night just to help ! A perfect hotel they only need to work on elevating the housekeepers
Note: rooms at a lower level and on a particular road are very noisy because of the cars you cant sleep , so request moving to a higher floor or another side of the hotel
AAnonymous UserLocated along a main street before 4 Seasons, on the fringe of Old City and opposite the Seaside Boulevard. Walk, catching a bus or taxi are all very easy. Food is readily available as there's Room Service, Rooftop terrace in the hotel, restaurants aplenty around the hotel or short walk away. Daniz Mall and Park Bulvar Mall are closest.
Staff are generally helpful and polite. Even though they may struggle with our English, every effort is made to assist. This is especially so with most of the reception and breakfast service staff.
Housekeeping would have been great for me if they had not returned a pouch I'd left behind in the bedside table. There's nothing of real value in it ( to me), except a printed copy of my passport and phone charging cable. It's frustrating as I'd contacted them the day after I'd checked out and no one else had been staying in that room since I'd left.
Rooms in the hotel are large, with a small foyer where the wardrobe is located. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Getting a room on the back (no Caspian sea view) was great as it's quiet. Bathroom was horrible as the sanitary system was old and gave off a strong stench that hit you the moment you open the room door. Flush was also not working properly. Shower stall doors were old and water leaks onto the bathroom floor when you shower, making it a hazard if you're not careful.
Breakfast spread was ok, offering both hot and cold dishes. Fresh vegetables and fruits were available too. The coffee and tea need big improvements though.
My biggest gripe was the refusal by tge hitel to move me to a room without the stench. As per my return to search for my pouch, that room (206) was definitely not often used.
JJudy LpyStayed here for little over 2 weeks. Didn't enjoy the breakfast in the hotel, just not to my personal taste. The gym is much tiny than the photos shown, very limited equipments and not well maintained, ie. The cycling machine is faulty.
Used the room service couple of times, the food was not reasonably priced for the quality.
Daily housekeeping not consistent, I can tell the cleaner just empty the bin and changed the towels. However, I didn't see shower and basin area getting cleaned up during my over 2 weeks stay, as it gets dusty. Towels provided had marks on it sometimes.
Overall, I think my experience here is subpar, personally, will not stay here next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel was renovated from an old hotel and was a bit run-down. The front desk's English skills are poor. The hotel is all carpeted and difficult to clean.
Feng shui is not good, the mirror is designed to face the bed. The room is relatively spacious, but the living experience is still average.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is more drawn by 3* rather than 4*. Nearby is a building that adds noise, dust and respectively spoils the view from the window. On the 7th floor I advise not to settle, as on the 8th there is a 24-hour restaurant, which periodically takes place various events, after which the staff put the furniture back. It is difficult to sleep at such a timetable, as noise isolation is naturally none. Breakfasts are diverse, the Swedish table, but the quality of food on the firm three. Bedding is clean, but with holes. To the old city in a hurry step about 25-30 minutes. In general, I can't say that it was terrible, but the second time I won't return to the hotel.
YYulia23The hotel is located near the center, there are swimming pools (outdoor and indoor) and a beach, but the beach is not well-maintained or equipped. The hotel is not 5 stars, but a solid 3. I think the price is too high. Breakfast is very good, dinner is also very tasty, the cook is good.
