Gwangju Madrid Hotel

Room was spacious with 2 Queen sized beds, jacuzzi, and a blue light clothes sanitizer. Walk to Gwangju Songjeong subway was a mere 7min.

Hadn't realised we had booked such a nice Hotel as the price was amazingly low. So we were quite surprised upon arrival. (As backpackers we normally stay in guest houses, etc) Excellent room, everything provided for. Fabulous breakfast. And it was a little far from the centre but Uber costs peanuts here. So all in all a perfect choice.

For our purpose, the location was great as we wanted to be close to the train station. The area has many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious as was the bathroom which had both a bathtub and a separate shower.

Everything great, I really liked the huge TV and the jacuzzi! The location is great too and the staff was very kind. Improvement points are the cleanliness and the water pressure at the jacuzzi. But all in all a great value for money.

The hotel is clean and tidy and is conveniently located opposite to the city's railway station. One thing to mention is that its restaurant is too small when more than 50 people used it at the same time, though the food quality is fairly good.

Wonderful hotel! Beautiful rooms! Best breakfast! Very close to the airport! Plenty of restaurants, Cafes,  shopping, market. Highly recommended! Oh and let’s not forget about the staff! Welcoming, helpful, kind! Thank you Madrid Hotel!

I had a very pleasant stay here. It’s clean and the location is right by Songjeong station so it’s a good place to stay if you need easy access to the trains.

Hotel room is clean and spacious but the location is not very convenient. Quite far from the city center.
