Gunnison is bad value for hotels
Claimed to be updated, but the doors had keyed locks. Gunnison is just overpriced. The following night I stayed at an updated Laquinta in Denver at $30 less per night and way, way, way nicer.

Convenient location on main drag but in need of renovation and comfortable beds. Rm 203 had a canted tub/shower combo and mirror image water control! I felt like I was in a funhouse! The chairs were stained and the freezer compartment was way overdue for a defrost.

Despite being an older place, it was exceptionally clean, and the staff were very helpful. Would stay there again!

Just OK
Could not watch TV if AC was on it kicked off direct TV. We were there 3 nights and two days the room was never cleaned we had to ask for clean towels. No Ice. The breakfast there was a pancake machine we could never get it to work, the cereal was so stale they had no bagels there were hamburger buns I guess to toast some wheat bread and some little honey buns.

The room was spacious with two chairs and a table (nice for two people!), larger-sized refrigerator, adequate air conditioning on hot day. Plenty of drinking cups and coffee cups, towels and hangers. Smoke from a nearby wildfire interfered with the hotels satellite service (so no TV and no wifi for the evening), but that was no fault of the management; it was working well the next morning.

The room was clean and a very good bed. The property is a bit dated but O.K. The television could not be used while I was there because there were no instructions on the system they have in place. Fairly quiet area and plenty of parking. At check in the room I arranged for had a broken television so I asked for another room but again, the manager on duty had to figure out how to make it work as he was confused also.
