We only had 1 night at the Red Chief Motel but what a wonderful country experience. Ray and his little helper were very kind and welcoming upon arrival which provided a great first impression. The room was clean & comfortable and as it was winter the A/C worked great to heat up the space. For a real satisfying stay I would recommend this place for sure!

Billabong is a great value motel. We stayed two nights in a family room. It is a large room with two queen and two single beds. The room had extras including microwave, toaster, plates, bowls and cutlery with a bench desk big enough for my children to eat at. The motel is conveniently located and squeaky clean. The management are very friendly and helpful. Yes, this is a dated motel. However, it shouldn’t be compared with more modern motels unless the cost of rooms are also considered. At only $155 a night for the whole family this is great value. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, convenient and friendly motel.

Arrived late yesterday from Brisbane to a nice welcome and lovely assistant Manager. The room is spacious, clean and smells amazing. Chatted to lady that cleans the rooms this morning and she too is just lovely. I highly recommended this place.

This motel is always very clean, rooms are spacious and central to my needs. The people who own it are always welcoming upon my arrival and departure. Comfortable beds and plump pillows which is important to everyone for a good nights sleep. They provide a touch of hospitality by supplying a few free bickies to have with the complimentary tea and coffee and real milk, not the long life stuff. I recommend this motel because it’s consistently a great stay.
