Hampton by Hilton Guiyang Guanshan Lake

The hotel is a bit out of the way, but it's well-equipped and very quiet. The breakfast selection is extensive, and it's on the 12th floor with great views. My only issue was that after turning off the main lights at night, there was still a white light on. It might be intended as a night light, but for me, it was a bit too bright. Luckily, I asked the front desk for an eye mask so I could get back to sleep. Also, the robot delivery system is a bit clunky – it calls you after arriving at your door, so you have to answer the phone in your room and then go open the door. Isn't that a bit overcomplicated? It would be much more logical if the robot could just connect to the doorbell directly, so I could simply open the door.

The carpet was very soft, the room was spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The service was also impeccable; I especially want to commend Xiao Jin at the front desk, who meticulously resolved any issues I encountered. Parking is also free, which I hadn't even thought of, but she proactively had me register my license plate to avoid paying. We checked in at midnight, and the front desk was still on duty and provided excellent service. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. The common areas were also beautifully decorated, very clean, and sunny.

We booked a king-size bed room, but were upgraded to a suite upon check-in. This was great for traveling with kids! The children had a lot of fun. The hotel service was excellent; they even brought slippers for the kids themselves. The only downside is the hotel's location; it's not in the city center. However, it's close to the highway, making it very convenient by car. The breakfast was plentiful, but a bit cold. I got a steamed custard bun from the noodle station, and it was surprisingly piping hot! In winter, I definitely prefer things warm and cozy!

The service was great, the location was excellent, the room was clean and odor-free, and the breakfast had a good variety of choices. I'll definitely choose Hilton again next time I travel.
