Wyndham Garden Hotel Guiyang (Guan Shan Lake City Convention and Exhibition Center)

Great hotel! The bed was really comfortable, and it was so quiet that I slept like a baby until morning. Security is excellent – you need your room card to access your floor. Breakfast on the 12th floor is very convenient, with a good variety of options, including local beef rice noodles and the delicious signature potato pancakes. There are also plenty of washing machines in the laundry room, and they provide slips to write your room number on. The hotel is in a new district, about a 10-minute walk from the museum, which was great for being among the first to enter. It's also conveniently located near the subway, also about a 10-minute walk away.

During the Big Data Expo, I was kindly upgraded for free to a 40-square-meter room. It was spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area, making for a very comfortable stay. They also provided free breakfast for my child, which had a good variety and taste. The hotel is about a 6-minute walk from the Provincial Museum, though it's an uphill climb to get there.

The room was great, and the hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit the Provincial Museum. The breakfast was also quite substantial.

This hotel is located in the heart of the financial district, close to CC PARK, offering free self-parking and convenient access to Guanshan Lake Park. The guest rooms are well-proportioned and meticulously cleaned. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light, and the soundproofing is decent. The breakfast selection is extensive, including local beef noodles. The hotel also features a gym and a self-service laundry room, making it ideal for long-distance road trippers. However, there are some notable drawbacks. The surrounding area is primarily office buildings, so there aren't many street-side dining options in the evening. Some room types face an internal courtyard, offering uninspired views. Check-in can be slow during peak hours. Overall, the facilities meet the Wyndham Garden standard, suitable for business travelers and short trips. If you prioritize a wide variety of nighttime dining options, you'll need to plan your outings in advance.

The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation and a bustling commercial area, with plenty of dining options right downstairs and a convenience store at the entrance. It's also just a 6-7 minute walk to the library and museum.

Extremely comfortable with a spacious, clean, and hygienic room, perfect for families. The breakfast area was a bit crowded due to peak season, but overall, it was a great stay. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel's location is great, with plenty of dining options downstairs. It's also within walking distance of the Provincial Museum and Provincial Library. Just a heads-up, getting reservations for the Provincial Museum during summer vacation can be tough, so you should plan at least three days in advance. Apparently, last-minute visitors can only grab about 2,000 temporary tickets (or so I heard). A big shout-out to Zhao, the lovely lady at the front desk – she helped us upgrade our room type!

Excellent service, overall a great experience. It would be even better if there was a fridge.

The location is fantastic, right in Guiyang's most modern financial and business hub. It's surrounded by skyscrapers, and downstairs there are many local eateries, which is great. The hotel service, especially, is top-notch. Manager Xiao Yi provided excellent service, a big thumbs up!
