Campanile Hotel（Guiyang Penshuichi Trade Plaze）

This hotel is really good, right in the city center. I had a minor issue, but they quickly provided a solution and compensation. The hotel is clean with no strange odors, and they offer complimentary specialty snacks.

The hotel is new and the room is super spacious with a great location. However, I suspect the sheets weren't changed as there was a patch about two palm-widths in size with debris (skin flakes). Since I was only staying for one night, I didn't bother complaining. Also, this hotel is located in a commercial apartment building with dozens of companies and hotels on 30+ floors, so waiting for the elevator was a nightmare. Good thing I was only there for one night.

The location is fantastic, making it easy to grab a taxi or find places to eat. The hotel is well-maintained, and the appliances and bathroom fixtures are all new. The toiletries are high-quality. The cleaning staff are polite, and the front desk is quick to resolve any issues. Overall, it's a cozy and comfortable stay, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel.

This is my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and definitely worth rebooking. **Environment:** The subway is right downstairs, making travel very convenient. **Continued Stay & Breakfast:** There were quite a few options, and enough to eat.

The hotel is only 100 meters from Metro Station Exit J. The room has a separate wet and dry area, and the twin beds are 1.35 meters wide. The hotel is also very close to Qianling East Road and Sichuan Alley, where there are tons of great restaurants.

Facilities: I specifically booked a suite for my 6-night stay, but when I entered, there was a strong, lingering smell of renovation. I asked a staff member who said the hotel had been open for a year, which didn't make sense. I suspect it might be due to the low ceilings. The decor also felt like something out of a cheap rental apartment. Service: At one point, I seriously considered checking out. After airing out the room and running the air conditioning, it felt a bit better after one night. The room service seemed decent, so I decided not to go through the hassle of changing rooms. Breakfast was okay; simple but edible, and I wouldn't feel like I missed out if I skipped it. The hotel is conveniently located two minutes from Exit J of Fountains Station, but it's in a busy downtown area, so getting in and out by car always involves some traffic.

Everyone kept saying Guiyang was in its rainy season recently, so I was worried about the weather. Turns out it didn't rain outside, but it rained in my room in the middle of the night! The air conditioner was leaking badly, and I almost slipped on the water when I got up. I felt like I was in a water curtain cave! I complained to the front desk, and even after adding them on WeChat, I still haven't received any response!

The hotel boasts an excellent central location, with a subway entrance right downstairs and plenty of snack streets within walking distance. It's clean and well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!

It's a breeze to get to the high-speed rail station or the airport via direct subway lines. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is a cut above what you'd typically find at other budget hotels. Definitely recommend it.
