Atour Light Properties in Guiyang

I traveled to Guizhou with my child this week and stayed at several hotels in different cities. This one was an absolute surprise and even better than some of the branded five-star hotels. The location is unbeatable, right opposite Wenchang Pavilion, which you can see from your room. Downstairs, there's a bustling commercial area with plenty of options for dining and shopping. It's also an easy walk to Jiaxiu Tower. We visited during the off-peak season, but every time we took a taxi past Pen Shui Chi (Fountain Pool), there was some traffic. Compared to Pen Shui Chi, the traffic here is much better. The entire hotel's design and facilities are very new, and all the thoughtful details make for an excellent experience. The soundproofing, smart toilet, shower pressure, cleanliness, and breakfast were all fantastic. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the check-in time at the front desk. At all the other hotels, check-in took only 1 or 2 minutes, but here it took a while. When checking out, we had to wait for other guests to check in, and it took a long time for them to finish as well. Next time I visit Guiyang, I will definitely stay here without hesitation.

I really enjoyed my stay here, so much so that I booked for another two days! There are tons of great food options nearby, and getting around is super easy. The restaurants across the street are all amazing; you can't go wrong no matter what you pick. The Clear Soup Hotpot, Siwawa, and Sour Soup Beef were all delicious. I also felt very comfortable with the cleanliness; the towels came sealed in disposable paper bags to prevent contamination. I even redeemed my points for some hand warmers and socks, and they were good quality too! A big shout-out to the front desk staff – both the ladies and gentlemen were incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and quick to respond to everything.

Excellent stay overall. Just a few mins walk from the subway station and easy to access from all parts of the city. Hotel premises are new and sleek. Low rise building. Amole carpark. Plenty of food options nearby. Hotel checkin was seamless and pleasant. Cozy rooms are small but cozy as the name says. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast is awesome and wide ranging. There are also gym, washing machines to wash your clothes although it was heavily used during our stay. Amenities inside the room are complete.

Staying at the new Atour Light (Version 3.3) in Guiyang completely changed my perception of mid-range hotels with its overall quality and meticulous service. It's perfect for business travelers and young tourists. The public areas feature a refreshing sky blue minimalist design, complete with an iconic wave-patterned large screen and an 'island' check-in map. Coupled with the 24-hour 'floating' bookstore, the ambiance is fantastic. The 'blue-shirted' front desk staff were incredibly gentle and attentive, and the 'boarding pass' room key ritual was a delightful touch. The room layout is very well-planned, and the soundproofing is excellent – even facing the street, it's completely quiet. It comes standard with the Atour Planet deep-sleep mattress and pillows that are just the right softness, along with sunset mood lighting, making for an incredibly comfortable rest. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the rain shower has abundant water pressure, and the toiletries are from the Jo Loves fragrance series. The vanity includes cosmetic storage compartments, which is super convenient for women to organize their makeup. All kinds of amenities are provided, and you can even get complimentary sleep aids and disposable care products. The facilities are incredibly practical: the 24-hour self-service laundry and drying room is always available. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, with a rich variety of Chinese and Western options, so you don't have to rush even if you sleep in. If you miss breakfast, you can even order a 'breakfast blind box' delivered to your room. The whole place is clean and odor-free, with smart room controls and a fully stocked mini-bar. It offers excellent value for money and is my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I'll definitely choose this new 3.3 Light version again next time I'm here. Highly, highly recommend it to my friends!!!!!!
