Our stay at Guilin Central Palace Hotel was exceptionally satisfying. We booked a king size room and was spacious. Breakfast and afternoon tea time came with many selections that were amazing delicious! Staff was always very helpful. We will book again to stay in Guilin next time.

Amazing hotel, I guess it has been renovated recently . The room is magnetic, and the staff can speak English quite well . Swimming pool, jacuzzis (3 of them), sauna and steam room, excellent gym with table tennis 🏓 equipments makes this property and excellent place to stay. Breakfast was excellent as I am a huge fan of Chinese food, not much of western food, but there are kids station, bread, coffee (good one) , sausage and bacon, and several other options of pastries such as croissants and danish. Thanks XiaoWu小伍 for the amazing service guiding us around the rooftop, taking pictures of us, and giving assistance providing all the important information on how to enjoy the hotel facilities . the only bad thing is the costumers , a huge amount of them smoke everywhere although there are signs saying the whole property is forbidden to smoke. The hotel should remove the ashtrays in front of the elevators . Unfortunately it is a problem in China when you go to hotels and makes very unpleasant the shared ventilation bringing smoking smell into other people’s room.

Bo Yin Hotel (Li River Secluded Hotel) Our visit to Guilin was to spend time with my wife’s large family and we twice stayed at the Li River Secluded hotel, for a total of 7 nights. Our expectations of a hotel experience are high, so we avoid using American chain hotels when possible. The Li River Secluded hotel more than met those expectations by combining exceptional customer service with a laid back, but luxurious guest experience. On arrival, we were offered a room upgrade. The upgrade accommodation was located on the ground floor, so this did not appeal to us until we were shown the room … the suite was spacious and tastefully furnished with a Zen motif that included a ceremonial tea table. Both my wife and I practice daily yoga, so the ample floor space immediately appealed to us. A room-width picture window featured a view of the Li River Lake and its pair of pagodas. Remote-controlled drapes and shears sound-proofed and eliminated light from the room when closed. A buffet daily breakfast on the 8th (top) floor was included and featured a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. We had family commitments that prevented us from eating dinner at the restaurant, but my wife hosted an afternoon tea session in the restaurant for some of her friends and the tea and pastries were excellent. In addition, fresh fruit was placed in the room every day, and the room refrigerator was refreshed daily with water, sodas, and snacks. The hotel was generally maintained in pristine condition and effected the highest standards of cleanliness. This applied to all the facilities apart from a small exercise room on the 5th floor. This consisted of a set of barbells (no bench), a fixed weight station (functional), and 2 treadmills, neither of which functioned properly … that said, I did use the weight station and the patio outside of the exercise room for yoga on a couple warmer days. There was also a guest laundry on the 5th floor which my wife used on one occasion. The customer service attitude in Chinese hotels is generally an improvement on what we are accustomed to in North America, but at the Bo Yin Hotel it’s exceptional. This means that English language speakers (I’m Canadian and my wife is Chinese by birth) would experience no problem in addressing any of the front desk, maid, or restaurant personnel. For those who prefer to order take-out food, a robotic delivery service is used, a feature that tends to fascinate any child you might be traveling with. Sean Bennett

We had a good family stay at Grand Link hotel. We are foreigners in China and have 3 kids under the age of 12. All staff were helpful and accommodating to us. We especially enjoyed the large pool (they put out the lawn chairs and tables/umbrellas on our second day to visit the pool. not sure why they weren't out there on the first day). The garden in the center of the hotel was lovely and the kids really enjoyed feeding the fish. The location was such that we had to grab a didi everywhere we wanted to go, since we had kids who couldn't walk very far distances. It was super simple to get a didi though, and usually about a 10 minute ride wherever we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!

Amazing location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. Decent selection of Chinese and Western breakfast choices. The Western restaurant is a bit expensive, but there are some great restaurants near the hotel. There is one amazing noodle shop about 1 block to the west. It is near an alleyway. Blue interior open on two sides. Cheap but amazing noodles. Also, there is another restaurant to the west with a wooden facade that has wonderful beer fish.

The homestay is located in the old town, so it's not too hard to find! If you rent a car, it is convenient to pick up the car, just next to the Sheraton Hotel! The room is newly decorated, very clean! There is also a warm plate in the toilet, which is very considerate! When I went to the rooftop bar to look at the menu at night, I was invited to drink beer by the young lady. Surprise! Next time I come here, I will choose this place and recommend it to my friends! Great location which is convenient for the walking street near by and other places such as the temple. It is not a “staycation” type of hotel, rather more of a place you would drop your bags and head out to walk around😊 The hotel is very basic and perfect for that over night stop. The staff are very friendly and there are people who can help organize tours etc. It’s not overly loud and the room is very neat, spacious and clean. Lovely little tea set in the window. For a long stay it may not be ideal for most, as from the rooms there is no view, but for a overnight stop or just as a place to sleep, it is certainly convenient and great value 😊 Ps a taxi cannot physically take you right there as it is in the middle of a walking street. But they can drop you very close.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the attractions, a five-minute walk. You have to pass through a tourist parking lot to get in. It's a bit dangerous for cars to pass by. On the day you left the store, there was a car scratching at the door. The hotel shares the same building with another J Group mid-range brand hotel, and the two elevators are pretty good. I didn't expect that the current Hanting brand design is so good. There are four bottles of water in the room, and it is generally very clean. The shower room is also equipped with music, which is good to listen to while taking a bath.

This Lavande next to Guilin Zhengyang Pedestrian Street has a good location, but it just happens that the pavement is being repaired, and the installation of a lot of panels is a bit of an impact! Not far from the pedestrian street, walking along Binjiang Road, very comfortable! There are a lot of snacks in the pedestrian street, and there are many small commodities. They are similar. There are not too many surprises. The hotel rooms are not very big, the beds are relatively large, the facilities are a bit old, the waiters are more enthusiastic, and the breakfast is rich. Loved this hotel. It looked newly renovated so everything in the room was in great condition! Very worth the price we paid :) Location is great too, it's on the pedestrian street itself with plenty of food options nearby, and within walking distance to the twin pagodas and Elephant Trunk Mountain park. My family was very happy staying here. Service was quick and efficient too. Our first time at an Atour hotel and we will definitely consider staying at other Atour hotels in future.

Hotel location is really good. I will suggest that one should book queen bedroom for fantastic view. Guest bedroom view is not so great. But Guest bedroom is also great to stay if you want an economical room. Elephant trunk hill is from walking distance, zhengyang pedestrian street is just on the bak side of hotel, ludi flute cave is on 10 minutesby taxi, two river four lake park is on walking distance.

The location is excellent, in Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street, opposite the street is East and West Lane, the end is Xiangshan Park, the hotel in the same location is more than 300, relatively speaking, this is the most cost-effective! Although the room is a bit small, the layout and overall color of the room look warm and exquisite. The bed was large and comfortable, and the sheets and pillowcases looked very new. I booked a big bed room and saw that the twin room that was being cleaned opposite was much larger. I took a sneak photo. Towels and bath towels are also very brand new and white and soft, slippers are of high quality, and the impression is very good. If the shampoo shower gel is transparent, it is clear at a glance, don't worry about being maliciously added to the inexplicable things. My family of three loved this hotel. It looks exactly like the pictures. It was such a beautiful peaceful place to return to each night. We appreciated the coffee available in the seating area. It's located right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. City ebikes and bicycles were within walking distance too. If we return to Guilin, we will definitely stay here again.

Guilin Trip was amazing! The Gangshe Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Xiangshan Scenic Spot) is within the city where you can find around the famouse Guilin Food and choose the best food you can see --- located just at the side of the hotel - the busy street foods, big and small restaurant, shopping mall, near to the Guilin river trip, to the park, and if you are foreigner like me who still love Mc Donalds and/or KFC but alaso love street food, its around the hotel. The hotel service was nice! they know I am foreigner and they take care the communcation with mix Chinese- English. One of the hotel staff added my wechat and we can talk in translated English - Chinese, which is awesome. They have free tea / coffee from 2:30 to 4 PM, it was nice Latte coffee blended with Chinese snacks. My room is a single bed, enough for a solo DIY traveller's with all the comfortable facilities needed to live comfortably. I suppsoed to believe that the view outside the window is the Elephant trunk or Elephan Hill as seen on the trip.com website, its about 10 minutes away by taxi + traffic. I spend the whole afternoon trekking in the elephant hill, explaining what about the stabbed elephant mountain hahaha. Find them all on my vidoes here, and of course my other adventures with trip,.com as my company on travel for hotel and flighht booking, I will make videos and will post here : h********************************************************and visit*************************************** There is an in-house travel agency in the hotel, I booked my day trip to Yangshou thru the river cruise, that is 4 hours trip to yangshou. Booking during May 1st, the location is super good, cost-effective, suitable for confidant or family outing, the store attitude is also very nice. 1.
