Heshe Lakeside Resort

Can’t recommend it enough. It is such a beautiful hotel with well decorated rooms if you authentic and spacious. The location is perfect with a lovely view by the lake and close to the flute cave. And I can’t think Maggie and Melody enough for all their help and support throughout our stay. They have an on-site restaurant has amazing local food that we really enjoyed. For our fellow European travellers, note that the staff speak really good English and are extremely helpful.

I absolutely loved my stay at Heshe Lakeside Hotel. The service was incredibly personalized—they even asked us the night before what we would like for breakfast the next morning. Every staff member was cheerful, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was their assistance in booking our tours, which ended up saving us money and a lot of hassle. They even provided transportation to the train station, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel’s location and view are simply unparalleled. It truly lives up to its name—right by the lake, with beautiful scenery all around. We especially enjoyed taking leisurely walks outside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, stunning views, and a relaxing stay in Guilin, I highly recommend Heshe Lakeside Hotel.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Heshe Lakeside Resort. The location is great if you want peace and quiet as it’s not near the city center, but the lake view from our room was lovely. Super close to Ludi Cave, which ended up being a highlight of our trip. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, always ready to help. Breakfast was solid with plenty of options. Perfect for families who don’t mind being a bit outside the main area. Would definitely stay here again for the cave and the calm atmosphere.

If you want to relax and take in nature Heshe Lakeside Resort is an amazing place to stay after busy traveling around china. The front desk staff are super amazing,accommodating and attentive. The cooks are amazing, definitely recommend trying their beer battered fish, we also had their foot massage (1hr) was sooo relaxing that I had to try their body massage the next day and I slept like a baby! Finally the views in the room are amazing!! Rooms have a small nest-like area where I was able to enjoy a night of reading. Recommend Heshe Lakeside Resort for some calm and relaxing vibes and if you want to be treated with love and care by the staff !

Heshe Hotel stands as one of the finest resorts for accommodation in Guilin. Their hospitality, culinary offerings, ambiance, and staff are all exceptionally delightful and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by amazing front desk attendant, Melody. She assisted us through out our stay and made sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of and our tour guide, Eric, who communicated fluently in English, significantly easing our experience as non-Chinese speakers. The owner was equally gracious, sharing their barbecue with us, creating a sense of homeliness. This hotel is located just 15 minutes from the main tourist attractions, with rooms that are very clean and offer breathtaking views. I am definitely coming back again.

Heshe lake resort is situated next to the Reed flute cave- our room overlooked a small lake and the mountains beyond- it is a tranquil / peaceful setting, just what one needs after a long travel! The staff were very friendly, communicating in English ( that was helpful! ) , offering something to drink as soon as we arrived- we felt really welcomed from the first moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a stunning view of the lake, and a bowl of fresh fruit awaiting us.
