It was an okie hotel with an average reception staff. Room was okie except for cleaniness and mosquitoe in the room. Location is great, walking distance to the train station. Some staff was friendly, some were not.

Location is good and very close to Guilin station just by 5 mins by walk. Only issue was noisy outside with some kind of maintenance. Light was poor in the room. Kinda dark. Overall good

Reception staff not helpful at all, of course they don’t speak English but not willing to help in an emergency situation..

You get what you pay, and that was dirty cheap. Room was alright and spacious but the staff not helpful at all. Didn’t speak English, didn’t want to engage. Didn’t what to help about anything. Would not stay there again.

The Ocean Hotel is very conveniently located, a 5 minute walk from the Guilin Railway Station. It wouldn’t show up on my map but everyone seemed to know it. Hotel staff were very helpful but, unfortunately, spoke very little English. We managed with the help of Google Translate. Room, bed and shower were good and I never had to go far to find breakfast.
I would definitely stay again.
