Dong Fang Hotel

Guangzhou Railway Station and Yuexiu Park Area Guangzhou|2.83km from Zhuangyuan (Number One Scholar) Lane
The biggest hotel I’ve stayed in Guangzhou. Was very happy to see the huge room with a separate living area, bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Then the leakage happened. What a shame, don’t know why there is a flood whenever we use the shower. The bathtub, toilet area and sink area is fine, but the water will flood most of the toilet floor after shower, and the worst is there will be a foul smell that comes after. Shower room is just next to the beds, so we ensure the shower door is shut when we sleep to keep the smell away. Other than the shower mishap, everything is perfect, I was surprised to see they even have different charging lines near the dresser and the tv area, very thoughtful!Location is the best, shopping plaza just across the road with a delicious dim sum restaurant on the 2nd floor, be sure to go early, I reached close to 11am and que for almost an hour to get a seat. The super market in the shopping plaza is expensive but the bread offers buy 2 free 1 if you go after 8pm, the bread is so tasty, I brought back to sg and ate for 2 days it still taste very good. Bought kiwis and persimmon back to sg and both taste very good as well. Subway is just 3 mins away and easily to get taxis from the hotel or from the roadside. Walk about 30 mins to qing hui yuan, one of the famous garden in Guangzhou, visit the huang fei hong and ye wen gallery. Take the subway 2 stops to Beijing bu xing jie, plenty of shops and vibrant place, it’s a must go. Really love the location of this old hotel, so convenient and surrounded by shopping and eateries, just need to make sure to have a shower room that doesn’t leak.

Xiaowu Hotel (Yide Road Metro Station)

Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Haizhu Square
Overall, it's good. It's just over 100 meters away from Yide Road subway station. It's easy to find. Downstairs is an old neighborhood with Guangzhou characteristics. [There is a time-honored mutton pot nearby that seems to be very popular, and there are so many people queuing up.] A short walk away is the Sacred Heart. cathedral The hotel room is quite clean and has good value for money.

The hotel is very good and travel is very convenient. The whole check-in process is pleasant and reassuring. All facilities in the room are complete and the hygiene is meticulous. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. It is cost-effective. Highly recommended! ! !

The location is very good, but unfortunately not easy to find. The staff doesn't speak English, but somehow we could find a way to communicate together. I appreciate the effort. My Chinese is terrible. The worst for me was the cleaning. The apartment has many things dirty, on the bathroom, on the windows, on the mirror, on the sofa, etc. The space is really tiny, but is ok. The bed is very hard. I like hard beds, but just want to put this information for other travelers. The laundry machine works perfect!

As shown in the picture, when I entered the room, there was a big cockroach. Finally, I changed the room. The projector could not see clearly, and both the rope and the air conditioner were blocked.

The service of this hotel is simply five-star! Free late check-out! If I lost my umbrella, the staff came out to deliver it myself! I pulled my ID card and the front desk guy sent it immediately! I will book this hotel when I come to Guangzhou in the future. The room is also very cozy

The service attitude has improved, which is good. The room lacked mosquito repellent sheets and not enough paper towels. The shower head is leaking. The hardware needs to be improved. The pot was removed before breakfast, thank you👍🏻. It is recommended to add fried rice noodles and fried vegetables. There are too few frozen food options alone. Or don’t use quick-frozen products. Just fried noodles, white porridge, and vegetables are enough. I basically drink soy milk and eat eggs.
