Loooved loved my stay here.The hotel has my always been my stay place whenever I visit Guangzhou with my family.Great great service,location is very suitable and convenient. The staff 10/10, friendly housekeeping staff too 10/10,comfortable and clean rooms

Perfectly located for exploring Guangzhou! We're just a 10-minute walk to Beijing Pedestrian Street, and the metro is conveniently right across the road. You'll love the easy access to popular shopping spots like Dongshankou, Tianhe CBD, APM clothing mall, Shisanhang Wholesale Market, Yide Lu, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and Yongqingfang, etc. Our room was newly renovated with a stunning city view. The stay was clean and cozy. A highlight was the buffet on the 39th floor, offering breathtaking views of the Pearl River. While the food was decent, the options were a bit limited, with the same selection available during our 4-day stay. Great news for gym enthusiasts! You can access the public gym located on the 7th floor, perfect for staying active during your stay!

The hotel has clean and comfortable rooms, and the breakfast served at their rotating restaurant is excellent. However, there are a few issues that could be improved. The elevator wait times were quite long—at one point, I waited nearly **7 minutes** just to go up or down. Additionally, the lobby isn’t very comfortable for waiting, as there are only a few chairs available. Overall, it’s a decent stay, but the elevator efficiency and lobby seating could use some attention.

I stayed in the same hotel 2 weeks ago. I had pretty comfortable bed and room. This time I went with my husband. The bed and the pillows were the worst. The room was only 2 room apart with the previous one. But even worse, there was a road work outside. They were drilling the road. The dront desk told us that will finish 8 pm but it continued until 10:30. Everytime when we ask to change the room, they said  that will finish soon. However it continued until I had huge tantrum at 3:40 am. I am working in Guangzhou and I went to the work with 2 hours sleep.

Front desk staffs were very helpful. Special thanks to 黎港香and Danny Yin (尹 震霖）in fixing the room door problem and helping me how to use the wechat to make payment for the Pearl River night cruise.. I will stay at the same hotel next time I visit Guangzhou.

Everything was perfect. Although basic rooms are quite small, hence we upgraded to next category by paying extra and it was great. Near to market

The hotel is sitting in the middle of ShaMian Island, an island full of historical culture of British Architecture. The hotel receptionists that hosted us on 12-13 Dec 2024 were all superbly friendly and helpful! I was with my Muslim Colleagues and we had difficulties finding Muslim food but the front desk gentleman recommend us a restaurant which turn out to be a great one! On the next day, I was having problem ordering a taxi transport to Baiyun Airport and the hotel receptionist girl helped to arranged and we were on time to airport! As for the hotel, the ambience made me indulged in the beauty of olden days. The bed was good quality and I had a full night rest. Water temperature are easy to control and hence overally, a very pleasant stay. If I return to Guangzhou in the future, I will surely be back at Victory Hotel ❤️

I extended my stay twice! I don’t understand why this great hotel has not had more reviews from foreign tourists. Location, cleanliness, service and professionalism is absolutely outstanding. I am now staying in another hotel in Shanghai and I miss the following list of things that I took for granted when I was in the Guangdong Hotel: English speaking staff, English TV channel, fruit platter, coffee sachets, large clean room, large bathroom, the meticulously cleaned room, the ambiance of the foyer area and above all the helpful ladies at the concierge desk! I am from Australia and this is my first trip to China. The Guangdong Hotel staff was a great introduction for me to China. They helped me download a navigation app and they taught me how to use the Chinese metro system. Thank you to the concierge ladies especially Kitty!

5-star review: A family came to Nanhu for vacation. The natural environment is amazing. Sitting by the lake, the spring breeze is blowing on your face. The redwood fir by the lake has just sprouted new buds, and the spring air is full. Friendly service, clean rooms. The infinity pool that children like, there are inflatable dolls for children to play with, and take pictures. Free parking, plenty of parking spaces, not far from the city, convenient transportation, unforgettable experience. During the holidays, it is said that the hotel boss personally greets guests at the front desk, which is very enthusiastic.

The room is spacious, the facilities are complete, the environment is comfortable, the service is warm and thoughtful, the order is processed quickly, the room arrangement is satisfactory, the parking is convenient in the hospital, and the surrounding transportation is convenient
