I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. Excellent location, superb services, helpful staff, waht else do you need? Will definitely come again to this place. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of them during our stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit in Rome. The breakfast was to our expectation. The area is central even if one wishes to walk around. The only thing is that the room is hot, does not have enough light and no air comes in even if you open the window as it is sourrounded by buildings.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

Pros: location was great, about 10-15 mins walk to Beijing Pedestrian Street for shopping. The popular Guangzhou Restaurant chain has a location in the building next door on the 5th floor. Hotel breakfast was decent, with a combination of Chinese and some western dishes. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Cons: the sink in the hotel room leaked water all over the floor so the hotel moved us to another room on the same floor. We stayed for 2 nights - someone rang our doorbell at around 11+pm the first night, and no one responded when we asked. On the second night, someone rang our doorbell about 3 times, around 11+pm, 12+am and 4/5am, which was disconcerting and a major disturbance when we were trying to sleep. We provided feedback to the hotel when we checked out, hopefully the hotel will enhance the hotel security.

I checked in during the trade fair and there were a lot more people than usual. The good thing is that the location is very close to the Beijing Road business district and is very convenient. The room is very clean and the management is acceptable. There are no insect problems that others have mentioned. There is a dedicated person to take care of the room every day. Customers can respond quickly when communicating via WeChat. It is easy to find a dedicated person to help. About 10 minutes is acceptable. The only thing I have to say is that the house really shows signs of age. There are stains on the glass windows, ceilings, and wall heights. And don’t expect the quality of the shower gel and shampoo provided in the room. It is recommended to bring your own. The most important thing is to wait. The elevator time is really long. In a building that is both commercial and residential, there will be a lot of outsiders waiting for the elevator, so you have to allow an extra 10 minutes before going out. Overall, it's okay and acceptable. I really don't lie.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here — the construction during the period only affected us on our first day (cleaning of windows). It was the NYE/New Year’s period and the Beijing Road area was always bustling and crowded but the security here did their jobs well. The room facilities are also new and clean. Only downside was the hdmi port of the TV wasn’t really accessible, but Apple TV casting could be used. The security was also friendly to us as we had some parcels throughout our stay. Oh and, Mcdonalds and Chagee (and many other malls) are located right beside the hotel — score!

Many young people and takeout delivery people come and go. But the 10th floor where we stayed was very clean and quiet, with a security peephole and free laundry. Clothes dryer. Our room has 180-degree large glass windows with open views, basic facilities, quiet air conditioning, hot and powerful shower, good Wi-Fi, and a 50-inch large TV that can only watch online TV. Downstairs is Huifu. There is a gourmet restaurant on East Road, Beijing Road is nearby and it is a 10-minute walk to Gongyuanqianji Railway Station. This hotel is cost-effective.

Room is very spacious, projection TV is great. However I felt if a Queen bed instead of King bed is used, would give a bit more walking space around the bed. Cleaning staff and check in staff are friendly and helpful. 2 in 1 Washer n Dryer is useful but needs to look into maintenance. It was dirty inside the drum. I ran a tub clean function and wiped down the washer door and seal. I then let it dry for a day before using.

On the west side of the hotel, separated by a wall, is the provincial government. Surrounded by surveillance cameras and guards. The surrounding environment is 6 stars! A few hundred meters to the west of the hotel is the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a few hundred meters to the northwest is Yuexiu Park, Zhenhai Tower, Wuyang Statue and Yuexiu Mountain Stadium. A few hundred meters to the south of the overpass is the Beijing Road Pedestrian Street area, which is convenient for travel and leisure. But not noisy or crowded. 🤪🤪The following is my personal opinion: 1. There is no elevator in the basement. 🤣🤣Guests need to carry their suitcases and go up the stairs to the lobby. Unfortunately, I parked at B2 and was shocked to find that I had to carry my suitcase up two and a half flights of stairs! Looks like it's only suitable for people traveling with a driver and secretary. Hey, I remembered that this is the provincial government guest house! 2. The breakfast buffet is only 3-star level. Hope to at least switch to a freshly ground coffee machine. It feels like they are not used to receiving individual travelers for leisure travel. 3. It is hoped that the front desk can provide more convenient and considerate services to ordinary leisure tourists who are not public servants.

When traveling to Guangzhou, I recommend staying in a B&B. Yuexiu Longtengli is a bustling metropolis. Line 1 is at the door, and buses connect to all directions.
