Hotels in Guangzhou Railway Station and Yuexiu Park Area, Guangzhou

All in all good hotel. Funny situation with the toilet that is behind the shower. So if you showered you always step into the wet shower when going to the toilet. (Picture) It seems that something sketchy is going on in the hotel since there were people packaging big boxes in the lobby. Later even the police was at the hotel. But other than that the value is good.

This is a well-established five-star hotel in a bustling area, offering excellent service, quality, and atmosphere. Its prime location is a major plus, with various bus lines and Metro Line 2 right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Yesterday morning, for instance, it only took 20 minutes and four metro stops from the hotel to Haizhu Square (Exit F) to catch the Guangzhou-Huizhou bus, making the trip to Shuangyue Bay in Huizhou super easy. The hotel's food street also has good quality options; I recommend the intangible cultural heritage Zhusheng Noodles. On the first floor, there are several coffee shops, dessert places, and fast food joints that are convenient and affordable. The sky garden and swimming pool on the fourth floor offer a pleasant environment and are definitely worth checking out.

This hotel is very close to the high-speed train station, and right outside there's a whole street of delicious food. It's also not far from the subway station. The room was clean and hygienic, and the service was excellent. For a traveler like me who needed to visit the market to buy clothes, it was incredibly convenient. The value for money was also great, and the room even had a small fridge.

Facilities: The room came with a small sofa and table, and the hairdryer worked great! 👍🏻 The disposable slippers were also quite thick and comfortable. 👍🏻 There was even a small lamp by the bed. Cleanliness: The environment was very clean and tidy. Service: The staff were very dedicated. I even forgot something and they contacted me to help mail it back! 👍🏻 The hotel is super close to Guangzhou Station; you can see it right outside the East Plaza and Metro Exit A. For safety reasons, you need to pick up food delivery from the lobby yourself. The air conditioner made a slight noise, but if you're really tired and just want to sleep, you probably won't notice it.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for our road trip! What impressed me most was the abundance of parking spaces; even when we returned very late at night, we always found a spot easily. The spaces were also wide, which was a huge plus for someone like me driving an SUV. Not having to worry about finding parking made the whole trip so much more relaxed. Additionally, the front desk service was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable rest. I highly recommend it to all road-trippers; it's definitely a top-notch choice for accommodation!

The room is big enough for both solo traveller and even those travelling pairs. The furnishing is old but cleanliness is still good. Toilet comes with a bidet that I really appreciate. There is room cleaning service daily. A plus point is the washing machine + dryer, which comes, with laundry detergent and is free for use. The hotel is abt 5-10mins sheltered, underground walk to the nearest train station, making it accessible to any part of the city.

My first time in Guangzhou, and choosing this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic – it's within walking distance of the Southern Theater Command General Hospital for my follow-up appointment. Guangzhou Railway Station, Metro Line 5, and Liuhua Station are also nearby, which saves a lot of travel time no matter where you're headed. While the room wasn't huge, it was thoughtfully designed, and the floor-to-ceiling window provided excellent natural light. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation. The biggest pleasant surprise was the hotel's free luggage storage, allowing me to explore the area hassle-free even after check-out. There's a supermarket and Hong Kong-style cafes close by, making daily life incredibly convenient. This place offers incredible value for money, definitely five stars!

This hotel is super convenient for anyone catching a train, as it's really close to the station. The room was very clean, and my child loved watching the trains go by. The front desk staff went out of their way to find us a room with a train view, which was lovely. We stayed during Chinese New Year, and they even gave us a small gift, which was a nice touch! We accidentally left a night light in the room, and the hotel staff kindly helped us mail it back the next day. We're very grateful for their assistance.

On this business trip to Guangzhou, I habitually chose the Dongfang Hotel again. Its location is super convenient; I got here easily from Guangzhou South Railway Station by subway. I've stayed here a few times before and I really love the ambiance and historical feel of this old-school hotel. The old photos lining the corridors in the lobby truly showcase its rich history. I'm grateful for the complimentary upgrade to an executive suite, and a special shout-out to Li and Feng from the concierge for helping me receive my express packages. The breakfast variety and dining environment are also excellent! My only minor issues were that the shower water was a bit too hot, and while the toilet looked like a smart one, it lacked the most important bidet function, which was a bit disappointing.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic value for money! The price is very reasonable, but they definitely don't skimp on comfort. The lady at the front desk had a warm smile and provided incredibly attentive service. The room was spotless, the bedding was pristine, which really made me feel at ease. What's even better is how exceptionally quiet the environment is, completely cutting off the outside hustle and bustle, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. It was such a pleasant surprise during my trip, I highly recommend it!
