Stayed at the Hilton for two nights with my friends, from April 5-7 and it was a lovely experience. Staff were kind in helping me get settled. The pool is nice, but one thing I wish I knew before I booked the hotel was that around 11am the sun goes behind the hotel and there is no sun on the pool. I mainly came to use the pool, so keep this in mind if you want that too. You also need a cap to go into the pool, my hair was up but they wouldn’t let me in the pool. The breakfast was good, if you plan to go for breakfast, go before 9, as it was very busy when I went. When I was there, some food needed to be refilled, I love my cheeses and there were 3 left on a plate when I arrived. Eggs and beans were also cold. A few minor things from my perspective, but it was a nice stay. My room was also very nice and I had a lovely tub. The hotel asks you to bring your own toothbrushes, pastes, etc. so it’s eco-friendly.

The room is clean but it smelled cloves once we entered but went away after a while. The service was really good. We ordered food for room service and the portions were big and delicious, too. It has a great buffet breakfast, lots of choices (Western and Asian), great tasting food as well. My kids love the hotel outdoors. It's a fun place to walk and play. They love the swimming pool too. We absolutely loved our stay at the Park Hyatt. As we arrived we were greeted by the porters downstairs. Friendly and professional. We checked in quickly, the guy at the desk spoke english and noted some of our requests. We walked in the room and loved the décor, modern and cosy and we were travelling with our 3month old daughter and her crib was already in there. Loved the toilet with all its functions, the bathroom facilities and coffee machine were all highlights. A welcome bowl of fruit arrived very soon after we walked in and we even asked for some more. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and drinks and snacks overlooking the Canton Tower. After dinner we headed back to the room and the bed was super comfy and we slept really well all night. The next morning we headed down for breakfast and loved the selection of fresh hot breakfasts they had on the menu. We took our time and had a very leisurely breakfast. It was also lovely to personally meet the general manager Marco who came over to talk to us. Our daughter was the star of the show flashing her smiles at other breakfast goers and workers. We loved our time so much we decided to change our train home and arranged late check out to enjoy the room and bath a little more. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be visiting again! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable.

Excellent location on Shamian Island. The hotel is a bit old and run down in places. My curtain wouldn’t open, and even though I asked the hotel to fix it, they didn’t. The light switches were all connected and crazy. It took me 5 minutes to turn off the bed side light because two different switches in the room had to be turned for it. Room service has very limited hours. Staff were polite but not overly helpful. My room card stopped working and I had to make 3 trips two the front desk to get one that would actually work. But... location is amazing. I’d stay here again just because it’s on the island.

Amazing service! Went for my birthday and they gave me a gift and a card at check out. The Jade River restaurant in the hotel is our favorite. It’s beautiful and everything tastes so good.
