An absolutely wonderful stay! The guesthouse is tucked away in an alley brimming with old Cantonese charm. Nearby, there's a magnolias tree in full bloom that smells incredibly fragrant, and right outside the door is a frangipani tree, dropping a few beautiful blossoms every day!
The soundproofing in the room is excellent. Even though it was likely fully booked during the May Day holiday, I didn't hear any noise. The wooden and concrete style gives it a very Japanese feel, and many windows offer views of trees outside – the design is really thoughtful.
Toiletries are available on demand, and you can enjoy free, unlimited Vita soy milk, Coke, and other drinks. There's also a self-service coffee machine (the coffee is exceptionally good! I made it every day!). The direct drinking water dispenser provides both ice and hot water, which is clean and convenient.
What truly stood out was how friendly and thoughtful the staff sister was! She'd greet us in the mornings, compliment the flowers we bought, and even opened the door with an umbrella to see us off when it rained.
