I stayed in an executive suite, so the living area felt spacious enough, but the bed in the bedroom was a bit small, not a King size. The view from the room was also good, though it was a shame I couldn't see the Canton Tower directly; I had to walk to the garden complex to get a clear view. I think the cleanliness needs improvement.

The room was okay, just a bit old compared to other hotels. There were hardly any USB outlets. Also, free parking was only allowed once a day, which is the first time I've encountered that; even worse hotels usually offer free parking.

Excellent experience! All the staff were super friendly and communicated well. A big thanks to Harry for helping me print some important documents – you really saved the day! This is a great hotel for a family trip; our four-person room was incredibly comfortable.

Excellent location, with a shopping mall right downstairs. The staff were generally enthusiastic and helpful. This is my top choice for family trips to Guangzhou.

will definitely stay here again when i return to guangzhou in the future. room is spacious and clean andservice was tiptop. Ivan assisted us with all our queries throughout our stay. Was unfortunate that the gym and swimming pool was closed for upgrading during our stay but there are so many things to do around here so you don’t have to worry about it. the kitchen is well and fully equipped. apartment was very spacious, my child loved it as he could run around. many food nearby for delivery which they will send via robot. highly recommended, will come again when the pool and gym reopens!

The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The hotel staff at the front desk were very responsible; we had many packages, and they diligently helped us handle all our package-related concerns. When we ordered takeout at night, a small robot even delivered it right to our door.

The service was excellent! The young lady at check-in was incredibly thoughtful, which made for a very pleasant start to our stay. We had business to attend to nearby the next day, and everything went smoothly. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a positive review.

Contrary to some reviews, there are no signs of wear and tear; the furniture and amenities are incredibly well-maintained. The front desk staff are professional, warm, and thoughtful, always anticipating guest needs and responding promptly and considerately. The location couldn't be better – there are plenty of dining, drinking, and shopping options right downstairs, and even a hair salon is just a stone's throw away.

Friends visiting Guangzhou, trust me and go straight for Ascott IFC! I stay here every time I come, and the experience has always been top-notch! The rooms are always spotless, with every detail perfectly taken care of; the location and transport links are incredibly convenient, making it easy to get anywhere; the rooms are quiet, no noise from the air conditioning, so you can get a good night's sleep after a tiring day; the staff are super friendly and quick to resolve any issues. It's a worry-free and comfortable stay, and it's become my go-to place in Guangzhou. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The room facilities were decently maintained, and the overall location was excellent. Hygiene: The hygiene was extremely perfunctory. Not a single mirror was clean, there were residual oil stains on the stove, and the stains on the light fixtures had been there for a very long time, likely never cleaned. Environment: The location is its only advantage; transportation is convenient. Service: Service was zero. From the moment I checked in, it was cold and uninviting. The first room I was assigned was right by the elevator, with two doors, one of which opened directly to the elevator. When I entered the room, there was a large bag of trash right outside the door, left by the housekeeping staff from the neighboring room. I called the front desk, and they told me it was an upgraded room (which I never requested). They implied that if I had an issue, I could switch back to my original room type. Their tone suggested, 'We upgraded you, why are you complaining?' Later, they showed me the room type I had originally booked, which was away from the elevator and felt much safer, so I stayed in that one. However, the air conditioning made such a loud, intermittent rattling and humming noise that it was impossible to sleep. I contacted Trip.com customer service the next day to report the situation. They immediately coordinated with the hotel, but due to aging facilities, the maintenance staff couldn't fix it, and I was disturbed by the noise for another night. During this time, the front desk contacted me about sending breakfast and a fruit platter, but I declined everything. All I wanted was a comfortable room and had no other special requests for the hotel. Also, the hotel didn't even provide basic shopping bags. I don't understand why even the most basic items are removed in the name of environmental protection. There was a large wooden block on the bedside table touting environmental initiatives, but where exactly was it eco-friendly? It's laughable. A hotel ranked 16th on the 'luxury' list is anything but luxurious. If you have nothing else to do, please remove yourselves from the list to avoid misleading guests into thinking you're actually good.

Great location, within walking distance to IFC, Gaode Land Plaza, and Huacheng Square. Even during the Canton Fair, the price wasn't excessively high. Overall, it's pretty good for a serviced apartment.

I might have encountered the Canton Fair, so there were a lot of people. Lobby front desk: Good, check-in was fast and polite. Hallway facilities: Average. The room was large, but the indoor facilities were old and there was a strange smell. The bedding was quite simple, especially the pillows, which were not even as good as those at HUAZHU hotels – this is unacceptable for the price. The bathroom door was really poorly designed; it blocked the sink, and even a slight movement would cause you to hit it, let alone if you're a taller person. It's quite a hazard. Although the toilet had been cleaned, there was an old urine smell. Summary: Compared to the price, the room was very poor value for money. The only very good thing was the excellent location and convenient transportation.

We had a great stay at the Ascott IFC Guangzhou during our short trip to Guangzhou. The apartment style accommodation is excellent and would be perfect for families or for longer stays. The unit was very well equipped with a large fridge, cooking appliances and a washing machine, which makes it feel much more like a comfortable apartment than a typical hotel room. The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and food options within easy walking distance. It is also a short walk to the riverfront where you can enjoy incredible views of the Canton Tower, especially at night when it lights up. Breakfast was very good with a solid variety of options. One of the things we appreciated most is that the property strictly enforces a non-smoking policy, which was extremely important for us and made the stay far more comfortable. The apartment itself is a little dated in places, but this did not impact our overall stay at all. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel/apartment for anyone visiting Guangzhou, particularly if you want a spacious room, great location and a smoke-free environment.
