Worst place I have ever stayed in GZ. The lifts and common areas stink of dried fish. To get to the check in, you need to take the lift from lobby to level 6. Then from Level 6, switch to another lift to get to the check in counter that is housed in one of the apartments. Worst is, the apartment name indicated on the booking is not even the same at the check in. There are several agents/landlords renting out rooms over at this building so we were rather confused when we got there.
The room is pretty basic and old. Good that it has washing machine but it doesn't have a dryer. We moved out to another hotel after 2 nights.

The seats are good, the mattress is comfortable, overall it's OK. The surrounding facilities are complete, and you can go to several Sacred Heart churches and Shamian on foot. It's right next to the seafood and dry goods market, and there's a big smell when you go out

The environmental sanitation is not good. I checked in after two o'clock in the afternoon. I was given a room on the 12th floor that someone else had just left that day. When I went there, my aunt was cleaning it, and then I cleaned it in a hurry. After my aunt left, I There was also a pile of dust and dirty paper under the bed. Some places are still dirty and have a peculiar smell. The smell is still there after opening the window and air conditioner for an hour or two, and then I ask the front desk to ask the aunt to clean the floor. There is still dust in other places. The aunt is impatient, so she does it herself clean. I heard from my aunt that the floor of the room I lived in and several other toilets were dirty and couldn’t be cleaned, and she couldn’t do anything about it, but I don’t believe it, it wouldn’t be possible if it was professionally cleaned. If you stay for multiple days, there are only two free bottles of water on the first day, and you will be charged for any more. But when I asked for it the next day, the front desk said that I didn't know this rule, so I gave two free bottles, and if I asked for it, I would be charged, and then I bought it myself. But the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is very good. Just put the room card in the room card return box after check-out.
