Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

It is a wonderful option to stay in Guangzhou. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is located a few meters from the pedestrian street and that gives it a privileged location to move around on foot. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

First of all, I would like to praise all the service staff, especially the duty manager Peter, who communicated with me about the housing needs before my mother and I checked in, fully understood the core needs of the residents, and made arrangements that moved the customers. It was very considerate. The hotel has a great location and the decoration is elegant and dignified. We are traveling. The station in front of the hotel is connected in all directions. We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. There are plenty of USB charging sockets in the room, which is convenient and user-friendly. There is PILLOW MENU where you can choose the pillow that suits you. The housekeeping staff even found out that I drink coffee every day, so they put some extra coffee capsules in the bag so that I could drink it with peace of mind😀 Although the hotel's catering is not yet complete, the scenery is almost non-existent, and the young service staff's response is a bit ****y. But you can feel the attitude of the other party trying to provide good service. In addition, the old central location just across the road from Beiyuan Restaurant can definitely be a reason to stay here again next time.

Within the hotel vicinity there are numerous restaurants that serve excellent food. Highly recommended for free and easy travelers.

There are many shops and restaurants everywhere The room is large compared to many other hotels i have stayed in. Room was clean and quiet, and included wardrobes to hang shirts and trousers Bed was comfy, had no trouble falling asleep I don't recommend breakfast though. There were no fresh fruits, no orange juice or any other breakfast juices which is how a healthy adult should start their day. Booking Haiyuan Club via Trip, the hotel staff, the room, the bed, everything went very well. Happy to recommend Haiyuan Club

Although the hotel has not been open for a long time, there is no smell at all. The service of the little brother and sister at the front desk is great. There is also a treasure box at the front desk, which is full of... It is a small gadget that is easy to forget for daily use. It is very considerate and adds to the good impression. The room is very simple, but the slippers and toiletries provided are very high-end, better than those in some star hotels. There are also many types of breakfast. Yes, the meat and vegetarian food was very good. It was a very satisfying stay. I highly recommend it.

Check in process wasn’t as smooth as I expected. It took me more than 20mins and I still wasn’t check in. At 2pm+, I booked 2 rooms twin bed, only 1 room is available.. otherwise the room is comfortable and location is nearby to Beijing road shopping district.

The location is very good, and the surrounding area is full of fireworks. After dinner, you can take a walk along the Pearl River. The room was big and very clean. What I like most is that there are enough water pipes in the room, which is very considerate for those who have a big need for mineral water. My only complaint is that the shower head switch in the bathroom is a bit tight and requires a lot of effort to switch on and off.

This hotel is located at a plaza but has only 2 levels (level 3 and 4). Although the reception area is not impressive, the rooms were excellent. The twin bedded room that we stayed in were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. They even provide a humidifier unit in the room. The air-condition were excellent and the bath water pressure were strong. There's even piped music which you can control (located next to the hair dryer socket). Excellent service with impetuous honesty: my wife left her handphone in the room after we checked out and only realised 5 hours later. We went back to the reception and they duly kept it safe for us to collect. Kudos to the cleaning staff. Location is great as it is walking distance to Beijing Lu (shopping street) and also to the cruise wharf. For those who commute using the metro, it is located near Haizhu Square stop.

The environment is clean and hygienic. The family room we set is spacious. You can see the scenery outside by the window, especially at night. It is very convenient to go to Beijing Road, Shamian Island, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. We walked slowly and received us. I don’t know if it’s the boss. Very enthusiastic, The only downside is that the hot water supply time is not long. If you take a bath, you have to wash it quickly, otherwise there will be no hot water, and you have to wait for 15-20 minutes.

I am impressed by this hotel. Good for single person going Guangzhou for business short trip. Location 5-6 mins walk from mrt station. This station also easy to travel to Guangzhou popular attractions such as Beijing road, Chen Jia Zi, Guangdong Folks Arts Museum. Nearby hotel you can find 7-11, Starbucks, Mac within short walking distance. Opposite hotel portion of Yang Zhi Jiang for your walk or jog. If you like old canton style food such as roast pork, roast goose etc, there are restaurants nearby or you may sit at the local small eatery shops and enjoy these canton food. However, don’t expect a big room with fridge from this hotel. Also the breakfast provided don’t expect too high. But I like the staff there - they are helpful and cheerful. Know how to guide us here and there as this is my friend and I first visit to Guangzhou. Special thanks to this receptionist girl Shen Meng Jie 沈梦洁 for her warm service to guide our trip here

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here — the construction during the period only affected us on our first day (cleaning of windows). It was the NYE/New Year’s period and the Beijing Road area was always bustling and crowded but the security here did their jobs well. The room facilities are also new and clean. Only downside was the hdmi port of the TV wasn’t really accessible, but Apple TV casting could be used. The security was also friendly to us as we had some parcels throughout our stay. Oh and, Mcdonalds and Chagee (and many other malls) are located right beside the hotel — score!

According to LP Lonely Planet, the hotel is located in a somewhat run-down commercial and residential building, with different commercial and entertainment floors. Many young people and takeout delivery people come and go. But the 10th floor where we stayed was very clean and quiet, with a security peephole and free laundry. Clothes dryer. Our room has 180-degree large glass windows with open views, basic facilities, quiet air conditioning, hot and powerful shower, good Wi-Fi, and a 50-inch large TV that can only watch online TV. Downstairs is Huifu. There is a gourmet restaurant on East Road, Beijing Road is nearby and it is a 10-minute walk to Gongyuanqianji Railway Station. This hotel is cost-effective.

The second time I stayed at the Youth Hostel, I stayed here for two days. The whole is still OK. The first day is a comfortable multi-person room. The room next to the front desk is arranged. It may be because there is no window. The room has a musty smell and is dark. Six people live in 10 people. Some people don’t sleep at one o’clock in the morning, and they still come in and out of the room and talk in the hall, which affects sleep. There is indeed this kind of person in the Youth Hostel. The next day, they changed to a superior room on the 2nd floor. The room was 202. The room was quite big and the light was very good. The bed seemed to be bigger. My bed has a small window for ventilation. I slept until dawn that night. The roommates were very quiet. I always liked the super big room of 301. I hope I can live next time. The room has a bathroom, but I have to take a shower. I go to the fourth floor to wash, aunt mopping the floor every day, The sanitation and beds are really clean. Turn left at the gate for a few hundred meters and take the bus for four stops to the entrance of the 13th line of clothing market. It is quite convenient to walk seven or eight hundred meters near the Youth Hostel. This is in a residential area. No noisy, except for the first day I met an unconscious roommate, Everything else is very satisfactory. Next time I come to the 13th line to live here, everyone must set the superior room upstairs, the comfortable room is noisy next to the front desk!

I'm very satisfied with the price. It's a newly opened hotel, so the room is still very clean and bright. It's just that the room is small, but it's very close to the attractions. It's no problem to walk back after playing! It’s almost done after crossing Haizhu Bridge. The lady at the front desk is also very nice. Highly recommended.
