The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit ex. tours.& transportation. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. Excellent location, superb services, helpful staff, waht else do you need? Will definitely come again to this place. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of them during our stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit in Rome. The breakfast was to our expectation. The area is central even if one wishes to walk around. The only thing is that the room is hot, does not have enough light and no air comes in even if you open the window as it is sourrounded by buildings.

Front Desk staff is top service, housekeeping lady that clean my room, thank you so much for the hand writing note.Concierge staff, doesn’t feel like helping traveller like us. I want to thank front desk for helping me and assisting on my request. Here are the major negative thing that i personally feel 1. Centralized A/C which is too hot even though i have switch to the lowest degree with cool high air. 2. Window too dusty as i was told to open the window if is too hot and stuffy 3. Shower top needs to change as the rubber tip turn brownish and water shooting from different direction 4. Breakfast expenses need to pay on the spot and not able to settle upon departure 5. Lift is alittle scary to me even though is safe. The lift have not completely stop and the door open. Overall, staffs is good but hotel is kinda old.

Hotel room: 0 (zero) star Hotel location: 4 (four) stars Hotel staff services: 5 (five stars) We checked into a room on 1/25/2024 for a 6-night stay. We realized the room smelled smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. The worst was the bathroom's strong, moldy, foul smell, which is a health hazard and unacceptable. On top of it, the in-room HVAC thermostat doesn't work, which we didn't notice until the next morning. We suffered without fresh air circulation and high room temperature all night long. The following day, thanks to the friendly, accommodating front desk staff, we could change to another room with no issues like the previous one. Even the room we changed to also has maintenance issues, such as the ceiling light above the nightstand hanging loose from the ceiling and exploding electrical wires. And the bathroom Faucet is loose, etc., unfortunately. Besides the exceptional overall staff services, the hotel is conveniently located in a local neighborhood, a perfect alternative for tourists who want to experience the truth of Guangzhou. Suppose Baiyun Hotel is positioned as an international five-star hotel. In that case, besides sustaining excellent staff services, improving room maintenance, upgrading the aging hotel, and paying attention to the details is essential. Outstanding staff service or a profound hotel history couldn't substitute necessities such as an operational thermostat or a foul smell in the bathroom. Having said that, I wouldn't consider Baiyun Hotel when we visit Guangzhou next time, nor would I recommend it to others due to my experiences with the hotel room.

It was very considerate. The hotel has a great location and the decoration is elegant and dignified. We are traveling. The station in front of the hotel is connected in all directions. We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. The location is excellent. Restaurants food are good with variety. The cleaning needs to improve as I told the cleaner the bed had yogurt sour smell, she didn’t change the quilt cover and bed sheet, only did easy job-changed the pillow covers. At night I couldn’t sleep because of the smell. Then I rang the service and told them the situation. They sent 2 room service ladies and changed the bed sheets and quilt covers straight away.

The staff were friendly and helpful. 1 thing that i think could be improve is the lift to the washing machine area. The lift is confusing if u are only having a short stay in guangzhou. But overall i had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to friends and family. I took a video instead of photo so heres a corner of the room.

The laundry room is really convenient, but it's a little bit old. You can ask the front desk staff to help dry and put it away after washing, which is very convenient. The room is clean and hygienic, the scent in the lobby is super good Comfortable and considerate. The shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are easy to use and have a nice scent. It only takes 8 minutes to take a taxi from the subway to the hotel. There are many restaurants around the subway entrance, as well as large shopping malls.

The hotel is fairly new. Location is excellent. There are wholesale markets all are the hotel for bags & luggages. Fast food chains like Burger King, Pizza Hut, and McDonald’s all within close vicinity. The front desk staffs are very courteous and speaks English. The breakfast was ok consists of both local and continental. My flight arrived early at 6am and since rooms were able, I was able to check in at 10am without additional charges. The only drawback about the hotel that there are no safe lockers in rooms. Other than that I had a perfect stay at this hotel. Next time when I come back to Guangzhou, I would definitely stay here again.

Our order has 2 breakfast everyday but the hotel record only shows 1. We have to show the trip.com confirmation (luckily husband has printed it out, we can't find it again from the order) and they checked that their record is wrong. Billy at the reception doesn't smile and I think he should ask me to add 1 more breakfast (because there is discount to add in advance) but he didn't do so and make me spent half hour to prove I should have 2 breakfast in the next morning. The manager Yannes has apologized and let us have breakfast in the VIP lounge (also free for tea time and happy hour). The food is only average. The waitress asked me if the food okay, I said the bread of the egg benedict is too soft. Then she answered usually people dont' eat the bread. Do you think her answer is so strange? The hotel is grand, the garden and pond is beautiful, room is cozy but you can hear the noise in the next room. The cleaning lady has good smile and polite. Very close to the MTR station and the restaurant Dim Dou Duck.

Booked standard room, two single beds. Although the room is old, the area is large and clean, and there is a large window. I like the big windows very much. You can park for free early, and you can store your suitcase at the front desk after checking out the next morning. More than 100 people live here and the price is quite high, there is an elevator to carry luggage up and down. There is a bus stop downstairs, and it is very convenient to take the bus to Yuexiu Park and Baiyun Mountain. There are also many places to eat nearby. Like to eat Cantonese food.
