I haven’t been back to Guangzhou for a long time. I miss this hotel very much. It has been renovated a lot. The breakfast in the restaurant on the second floor is various. There are enthusiastic staff in the front hall, a good-looking guy and a beautiful girl. The guest rooms are full of enthusiasm. Sister, the room is still as clean and tidy as before, and there is a new laundry room, and the washing machine also has a drying function, so you don't have to worry about the clothes not drying for several days. Love this hotel. Facilities: Laundry room, quick wash, spin and dry in one Hygiene: Clean and tidy, equipped with disposable toilet seat covers and disposable bathtub bags. Environment: The environment is beautiful, the decoration is exquisite, and the photos are very artistic. Service: The front office service is very good and will always care about your needs. Delicious snacks in the lobby and heart-warming tea in the lobby: Delicious and healthy Luo Han Guo tea is provided, paired with snacks.

It worth the price. Toilet paper was missing. Called the front desk. Issue resolved promptly.

The hotel is new, very comfortable, and the rooms are very clean. The hotel has a free bus to the Canton Fair. This is very good. There are a lot of people on the bus, and you can store your luggage for free. The service is very satisfactory, and the breakfast is also very rich.

Hotel room: 0 (zero) star Hotel location: 4 (four) stars Hotel staff services: 5 (five stars) We checked into a room on 1/25/2024 for a 6-night stay. We realized the room smelled smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. The worst was the bathroom's strong, moldy, foul smell, which is a health hazard and unacceptable. On top of it, the in-room HVAC thermostat doesn't work, which we didn't notice until the next morning. We suffered without fresh air circulation and high room temperature all night long. The following day, thanks to the friendly, accommodating front desk staff, we could change to another room with no issues like the previous one. Even the room we changed to also has maintenance issues, such as the ceiling light above the nightstand hanging loose from the ceiling and exploding electrical wires. And the bathroom Faucet is loose, etc., unfortunately. Besides the exceptional overall staff services, the hotel is conveniently located in a local neighborhood, a perfect alternative for tourists who want to experience the truth of Guangzhou. Suppose Baiyun Hotel is positioned as an international five-star hotel. In that case, besides sustaining excellent staff services, improving room maintenance, upgrading the aging hotel, and paying attention to the details is essential. Outstanding staff service or a profound hotel history couldn't substitute necessities such as an operational thermostat or a foul smell in the bathroom. Having said that, I wouldn't consider Baiyun Hotel when we visit Guangzhou next time, nor would I recommend it to others due to my experiences with the hotel room.

The hotel is fairly new. Location is excellent. There are wholesale markets all are the hotel for bags & luggages. Fast food chains like Burger King, Pizza Hut, and McDonald’s all within close vicinity. The front desk staffs are very courteous and speaks English. The breakfast was ok consists of both local and continental. My flight arrived early at 6am and since rooms were able, I was able to check in at 10am without additional charges. The only drawback about the hotel that there are no safe lockers in rooms. Other than that I had a perfect stay at this hotel. Next time when I come back to Guangzhou, I would definitely stay here again. 

Pros: location was great, about 10-15 mins walk to Beijing Pedestrian Street for shopping. The popular Guangzhou Restaurant chain has a location in the building next door on the 5th floor. Hotel breakfast was decent, with a combination of Chinese and some western dishes. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Cons: the sink in the hotel room leaked water all over the floor so the hotel moved us to another room on the same floor. We stayed for 2 nights - someone rang our doorbell at around 11+pm the first night, and no one responded when we asked. On the second night, someone rang our doorbell about 3 times, around 11+pm, 12+am and 4/5am, which was disconcerting and a major disturbance when we were trying to sleep. We provided feedback to the hotel when we checked out, hopefully the hotel will enhance the hotel security.

Excellent service and great store manager for this chain hotel. I was feeling very sick and the store manager allows me to have a late check out. Also they have free flow of snacks around 8pm-12am. Which is quite good and I don’t need to delivery. Also the front desk 小柯provides excellent service as I need extra blankets, and I want to pay the other nights through WeChat. And she will help me to reserve the days. Very great service.

It took about 10min for me and my family to get there on foot, however there's no lift or elevator in the metro station (Exit A) which we are struggling to bring the luggages with us. The location of the hotel is good as it's right next to Yuexiu park and opposite Nanyue King Museum. The check in process is quite smooth, the staffs are helpful and approachable. The room is spacious and clean. The light, aircon, TV automatically switched on when we entered the room. We can choose the brightness of the light base on our need from 0%-100%. The food delivery robot is something I have never seen in other hotels, it should be a plus point, however as it's programmed in a way that you have to let the robot to enter and leave the lift before you. There's one time that we have experienced a congestion in the lift area when both food delivery robots blocked the pathway. One other concern we are facing is the Central aircon system, the weather gets cold but the room that we stay is pretty warm as the whole building changes to the heating mode. We have to open the window to wait for the room to cool down. Plus point of the hotel is we are able to deposit our luggage in the hotel for free of charge as our flight is during midnight hour. Overall it's a nice stay in the hotel. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. You can get to the subway station in a few minutes. We chose the hotel to go to the Guangzhou Zoo. There is a free parking lot, which can be exempted until 2 pm. If you exceed , you have to pay more. You have saved a lot of parking fees. Self-service The breakfast was better than expected. Overall, the price/performance ratio is quite high. The overall hotel environment is also good.
