Crystal Orange Properties in Guangzhou

Great family stay in a super convenient location! We stayed 5D4N in a family room with 2 large beds, which comfortably fits a family of 4 — a rare find in Guangzhou. The hotel is fairly new, clean and well maintained. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, especially Ms Lin Yuguo, who kindly provided her phone number in case we needed assistance. Another gentleman at reception, who wears glasses, was also very helpful and welcoming. Excellent location right above Gongyuanqian Station (Line 1), with lots of eateries nearby and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street just a 10–15 min walk away. They also have free self-service laundry, which was very convenient for a family stay. Breakfast at RMB78 is a little pricey, so best to book a room with breakfast included. Overall, highly recommended!

During my stay, the hotel breakfast's main dishes were generally satisfying. The buffet offered a diverse selection of both Chinese and Western options, such as freshly cooked noodles and warm, soft baked bread. The staff promptly refilled items, ensuring a steady supply. The overall quality was consistent, but I'd suggest enhancing the seasoning of some dishes to boost their flavor. Recommended: Four stars.

Overall, the stay was great! The location is convenient for getting around, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable to sleep in. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and they responded promptly. Excellent value for money, I would choose to stay here again next time! ✨

My family and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Chimelong, Guangzhou. I found it on Ctrip. The room was very spacious, and even though it faced the road and overpass, there was no noise once the windows were closed. The only downside was that the room was quite new and still had a bit of a lingering 'newly renovated' smell. Also, while it's not far from Chimelong, it's not within walking distance. It's especially difficult to get a taxi from Chimelong, and walking back to the hotel would be quite a trek. There's no subway nearby either. Other than that, everything else was great. The hotel staff (the 'xiaogege' as we say in Chinese, which means a friendly young male staff member) provided excellent service; he even helped deliver food, and was very accommodating to all our requests.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless with no strange odors, spacious, and bright. We loved being able to cast movies to the TV. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the toiletries had a lovely, fresh scent. The laundry room was a lifesaver, especially in the summer. Everyone at the front desk was super welcoming. My favorite part was the spacious desk – perfect for all our takeout! We'll definitely be back for our next concert.

Room: Given how many years it's been, the Crystal's decor style definitely feels a bit outdated by today's standards. I think everything else is pretty well-maintained, but the toilet… it's really hard to describe. Service: But what the hardware lacks, the service makes up for. All the staff are excellent. When the toilet had issues, they responded quickly to fix it. The service is definitely commendable! Location: There's a long flight of stairs to get in and out of the building, which isn't very convenient for the elderly or young children. It's not too far from the subway station, but you have to cross a pedestrian overpass, which again isn't great for the knees.
