Atour Properties in Guangzhou

The view from our room is exceptional overlooking the Pearl river. The service providers in the hotel were friendly, approachable and helpful. The room is clean and the necessities are provided are good, although some switches though are not working and the switch panel need repairment. Overall, it was quite good. The location is convenient, right downstairs on Tianhe South 2nd Road, with a long street full of various eateries. The breakfast was also quite substantial, surprisingly featuring apple, tremella, and lean pork stewed soup, served individually in small盅 (ceramic jars), which is very characteristic of Guangzhou. The restaurant also offers nice views of the CBD skyscrapers. However, being on a main road, car noise is unavoidable. If you're sensitive to noise, choose a room ending in '01', which is relatively better. With the windows closed and curtains drawn, it became much quieter. This room type was also arranged by the hotel front desk based on my request, which I appreciate. Now for some areas that could be improved: 1. To my surprise, there was no smart toilet. For an Atour hotel in Guangzhou's CBD, this is a bit unacceptable. 2. The communication skills of the front desk staff need improvement. The evening before my check-in, I called the hotel's front desk. The person who answered was a gentleman whose Mandarin wasn't very fluent (I don't mind accents, though). I said, ”My surname is Chen, and I booked room XXX for tomorrow night through Trip.com.” His first question was, ”What Chen?” I was instantly flustered. This is Atour, not some budget hotel down the road. Shouldn't it have been, ”Ms. Chen, may I have your full name?” This is basic front desk etiquette, isn't it? Generally, the front desk is a guest's first impression of a hotel (or the parking lot for those driving). Since 24-hour front desk service is provided, the standard should be consistent. Don't have Atour standards during the day and then inconsistent service quality at night once the check-in rush is over. Details determine success or failure.

The hotel room is spacious. The breakfast spread is amazing. Have a wide variety. They have a laundry section at level 3. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the metro station is quite far away. And not much interesting shops nearby. Within walking distance, there is Korean street , but mainly is all food. So if you plan to take metro to airport, is not convenient. Unless you travel light and don’t mind walking a distance.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and there are several highly-rated restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. My only complaint is that there was a constant noise in the room at night, I'm not sure if it was the air conditioning or something else, but it kept going on and off and was a bit loud.

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. The staff at Atour Hotel were all so friendly and hardworking, and they were more than happy to help me receive a ton of packages! The laundry service ladies were also incredibly thoughtful; they would wash and dry our clothes and then deliver them back to our room – it was absolutely amazing! Next time I travel, I will definitely stay at Atour Hotel again without hesitation! 🤩

The location is definitely the biggest highlight, with seamless access to Metro Line 3, making it incredibly convenient for both the airport and the city center. The hotel design is trendy, and the service upholds Atour's consistently thoughtful standards, offering late-night congee and warming teas. The room is quiet and comfortable with smart amenities, making it an excellent choice for a layover or a short stay.

The breakfast was delicious, with unlimited beef offal noodles and great coffee. The steamed spare ribs were also a highlight. The room was spacious and odor-free, and the gym provided complimentary bottled water and towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The dryer right next to it was very convenient, no waiting in line!

The hotel is great and very new, and the lobby is also spacious. The front desk staff are all very friendly and attentive. Xiao Luo, Yi Ran, and another staff member whose name sounded like 'Ga something' all provided excellent and thoughtful service. They gave me a complimentary breakfast, but I didn't get to try it; I hope to have the chance to use it next time I visit. Cleanliness: Spotless, not a speck of dust. Environment: Good environment, high floors. Service: The staff always greet you when they see you! Thanks for the late check-out service for room 1823.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's within walking distance to Canton Tower and Lujiang Metro Station is right around the corner. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin. The smart amenities were a thoughtful and practical touch. The service was incredibly warm; the front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient. With 24-hour coffee, a self-service breakfast, and a laundry room, it really checked all the boxes. The value for money is through the roof – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou!

She even proactively recommended nearby attractions, showing incredible attention to detail. The room itself was full of pleasant surprises. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding featured Atour's signature 'deep sleep' mattress, which was soft and supportive without sinking. Combined with the optional memory foam pillows, I had a fantastic night's sleep, completely unwinding from travel fatigue. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, hot water came quickly and stayed at a consistent temperature, and the vanity mirror was spotless, with even the corners sparkling clean. As someone who's particular about cleanliness, I found it extremely comfortable. The smart room control system was super convenient; I could adjust the lights and air conditioning with just my voice. The mini-bar even thoughtfully provided complimentary drinks. The overall design was minimalist yet refined. The hotel's location is also excellent, close to both the subway station and attractions, making getting around incredibly convenient. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travel. Atour truly embodies the feeling of 'a home away from home' through its meticulous details and warmth. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip, and I've already recommended it to all my friends!
