It is an incredible place, of exceptional beauty. I had already met him before, however this weekend was the first time I stayed. After the reservation I read comments about the service (bordering on regular and bad) especially for the lack of hot water and uncomfortable beds, still decided to check it out for myself (and my friends) and I was fascinated. I will definitely return there. Neither my friends nor I had problems with the hot water in our rooms, or the lack of bath towels or dirty bath towels as I read in the comments, all rooms were clean, the only problem in the rooms that touched me, was the telephone that did not serve to call the reception, as for the food, well because the buffet although it is not so varied, is good and accessible price. The restaurant has an excellent view of the city, the chef and all the people who serve you are very friendly, without a doubt, a place to return.

my experiences from these hotels has been positive so far. this one stands out because i think the owners dont pay attention to it. the bathroom had no warm water or adequate water flow. it was spacious yes but i also wanted to bathe. the breakfast area is in the center of the establishment and only has natural light from the top which is 7 ? stories high. so if you have and early morning the area is not adequately lit. also the breakfast bouffet is lacking in choice. very few things offered. the bed excellent as always. for me 2 were the worst elements: i tried to talk to receptionist over the phone and he didnt speak english well and i found a cockroach in the restroom at the reception area. i know this is a hotel for short stay but isnt the goal of every hotel to have people converging no matter what?

The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and has a great pool. We had nice rooms overlooking the pool area. The rooms are a bit tired looking but were huge with a very comfortable bed and the shower had good water pressure. Was a good location in easy walking distance to the historic centre. Had the breakfast a la carte menu which was fine.

Excellent hotel in the center of the care not only in the center but if a few steps from the Alhondiga de Granadinas Mercado Hidalgo Callejón of the easy kiss to walk in the center area does not have parking but to the costs have two public parking and a commercial square

The other reviews have said it mostly. Let me sum up. Location. Guanajuato has much of the city unaccessable by car/taxi. This hotel has parking, down it's back street on reservation. Some other hotels you might have to carry your bags some distance. As it was, I had to carry my bags a block at midnight, and then call to be let in. It is in the city center, on a park square, with most of the public buildings, monuments, etc. When you are walking a lot coming to a home base that is close is important. A hotel off the beatin path might be nice too. The Views. None of the reviews talked about the roof of the hotel. It has some nice views that are worth the stay alone. I asked for an upper floor room, thinking I might get one of those balconies by default. No dice, but sitting on the roof was plenty consolation for the two flights of stairs. Plus, it largely cut out the noise from the square. The hot tub was out of commission though. Convenience. This is a historic hotel. Small rooms, mexican tiled bathrooms, carved wood doors. If you decided to come to Guanajuato, why would you stay in a Hilton? The hotel has a hodge podge design, of convoluted stairs and additions, that resemble the towns construction, built up over centuries. It has a beautiful old world lobby. The staff were on the spot, and helpful with old school butler efficiency, answering all questions.

Super recommend the Balcon del Cielo hotel, about 400 per person. The recommended reasons are as follows: 1. Excellent location: The hotel is located next to Pipila, the handicraft market and the upper and lower entrances of the cable car are at the door of the hotel. 2. The hotel presents a cable car up and down card. With the hotel room card, you can take the cable car for free without any queuing. The only thing you should pay attention to is that the cable car runs until 9 pm, and you need to take a taxi back to the hotel after 9 pm. It's not too expensive for around ten yuan. 3. The breakfast provided by the hotel is at Casa Valadez next to the Juarez Theater. It is said to be one of the most famous restaurants in Guanajuato. The restaurant is designed in a classic style and is very distinctive. There are two ways to use the complimentary breakfast card. One is to choose a fixed set meal, which includes a staple food, coffee, fruit salad or juice, and French bread. There is no charge in this way. The second is not to choose the set meal, the restaurant menu is arbitrarily selected, in this case the breakfast card presented by the hotel can be deducted 120 pesos. A very beautiful hotel with a very small door opening. It is a little inconvenient to park in a narrow road at the entrance, but it is still possible to quickly drop off your luggage. The name Art Hotel is not an exaggeration. It has an artistic atmosphere, and many places are beautifully photographed. The view is also first-rate, the small courtyard outside this twin room can see the colorful houses of Guanajuato, which are very good during the day and night. The geographical position is superior, just in the small town, quiet in the middle of noisy, a few minutes walk to the most lively central area and various attractions.
