The family THEDY who own and run this hotel are to be congratulated on delivering an outstanding customer experience with their well trained, motivated and happy team. Hotel Scoiattolo provides a warm, genuine hospitality on every level. From arrival, it’s clear that behind the scenes nothing is left to chance, yet it’s delivered with passion, quiet calmness and a real “ family” atmosphere- because this family is 100% genuine . The dining, from breakfast to dinner is varied, well presented, healthy options , and the taste is exceptional, I do believe easily 4star standard and above. The reception area, bar, dining room areas immediately give the senses of comfort, cosy , warm and like staying in a friends family home. My favourite the lounge area, with real fire, the most comfortable easy chairs and little old historical items to provide the atmosphere and authentic family touch. Downstairs a snug bar / children’s play area, wellness and spa ( very good too ), and well lit dry ski and boot storage, in fact probably one of the best I’ve used. Also the free hotel shuttle minibus service to and from the nearby chairlift which is extremely useful. The rooms in a main hotel building and adjoining building. My room 110 on 1st floor with a view up to the mountains, most comfortable, easy control heating for room and bathroom, with small table to work from, comfy easy chair, fridge ( and mini bar to pay for if required) , and exceptional hot drink area with kettle , mugs, tea and coffee provided too. The bathroom very well equipped with plenty of hot water too. The cleaning team to be congratulated, again spotless everywhere . I’m trying to think of anything they have missed or any improvements, but I honestly can’t think of 1 thing! Thank you to THEDY family & your team . I’ve just booked to return again.

Clean hotel with friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Close to the slopes, with shuttle service. Private parking next to the hotel. Will definately return at the next opportunity. The restaurant was absolutely great!

Perfectly adequate hotel for skiing - food and facilities are all that is needed. However during our stay my son had a nasty accident when the shower door in our room shattered cutting him all over his hands, legs etc. Whilst the hotel got hold of a doctor they didnt fix the problem, nor make any attempt to apologise for the bad condition of the shower enclosure. Disappointing.

We took the bus into Courmayeur and the hotel was just a short (uphill) walk from the bus stop. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We had an extra day with nothing planned so the front desk helped us with information about the area (we ended up taking the bus to a nearby town, Pre Saint Didier for a hike and the hot springs). We were there a little early in the season so the hotel restaurant wasn’t open for dinner yet but the breakfast was amazing. We also used the hotel spa which was relaxing. Rooms were bright and clean. Really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend.

Very clean rooms and sorroundings! Friendly and serviceminded staff! Specially our breakfast host, he was really great! Perfect location in the town and a shuttle to/from the ski system that worked perfectly each day!

Just returned from a fab week staying in this lovely hotel. This was our first time in this hotel and second time in Gressoney. It's very comfortable with a stylish, modern alpine vibe. The food is delicious with lots of choice and the wine on offer is also great. The staff are extremely warm, friendly and helpful - thanks, guys! The hotel provides a really convenient shuttle service to and from the Jolanda chairlift. Our room was spacious and quiet with a very comfy superking bed, a good shower and plentiful hot water. Although there was a dirth of natural snow during our visit, the pistes were kept operational with snow cannons and extensive grooming. When the whole lift system shut due to high winds, we and some other guests hired a taxi and spent the day at Pila - a snowsure wind free alternative worth pursuing in the circumstances and covered by the same lift pass! Despite the less than perfect weather conditions, we still had a great holiday and look forward to returning to Lo Scoiattolo!

The hotel is run by a family and this is how they make you feel like. Everyone is extremely nice, and willing to make you feel loved and at ease Rooms are extremely nice, the spa is perfect after a long skiing day and the restaurant is among the best in town (by the admission of local people) Super recommended
