The thermostat is broken on the wall. At midnight, the AC turned on to full speed for no reason and I was waken up by the noise. I went to the front desk, they gave me batteries and ask me to replace the batteries in the thermostat.

Although we only stayed overnight we were very pleased. We had stayed at the property when it was a Hilton. We know it has changed ownership and needs some updating but it was still very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Alexis at the front desk .

Very comfortable experience, there are some ants in the room on the first floor
But the whole living is very comfortable, big lawn, breakfast, gym

Staff was great! Beautiful grounds! However, the owners of this property need to put a lot, a lot, of money into upgrading this hotel. It has so much potential! There was no heat in the room when my daughters and I checked in. As of October 6th, 2023, the heat had not yet been turned on in the hotel. We had to ask for a space heater. The bedding and carpet felt damp because of the lack of heat and because the windows and external door to the balcony were in such bad shape. I really wanted to like this hotel. The hotel foyer and the main public rooms were very nice, but the rooms really need an overhaul immediately. Wonderful and friendly staff though.

The hotel used to be really nice when it was part of a chain, but since going independent, the quality has dropped off. The rooms were clean, but when we first turned on the shower, brown water came out of the faucet. (It cleared itself out and we wiped down the shower prior to getting in.) There were no hand towels so we had to ask for those. Staff was very pleasant. It is easy on / off the highway and near the Tarrytown train station, which is nice and convenient.

The vending machines don’t take credit/ApplePay, cash only. They don’t offer even simple water bottles DESPITE there not being anything else to try and get. The bedroom TV didn’t work. It is extremely dated as far as carpeting and in-room amenities. The lamps have outlets that don’t work too. The one bright spot was the check-in representative named Arion (sp) who was absolutely fantastic. Excellent customer service!
