Lovely location with views along the valley from the room, the champagne afternoon tea was not the best..no sandwiches..too many cakes with the scones dry..probably frozen. The dinner was ok !!!warm food..but breakfast was abysmal had much better in the Premier Inns. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, overall understanding that it’s winter in the lakes it was pleasant.

Brilliant location in the Lakes and a lovely place to base yourself. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Room was a bit too hot and the bed not the comfiest, which let it down a touch. For the higher-end price, you expect a bit more from what’s meant to be a high-end hotel.

The spa does not have hot water (35 degrees). It is quite small. The room was nice.

This is the third hotel I've stayed at in the Lake District. Overall, I'm satisfied, especially with the surroundings. The decor isn't luxurious, and the lobby and restaurant are relatively simple. However, the hotel faces Lake Grasmrer, offering beautiful views and a quiet, secluded feel. I booked a lake-view room, but a large tree blocked the window, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel restaurant is a bit on the high side, offering a slightly lower value than the other two restaurants I've stayed at.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the lake. The lake view rooms have views of the lake, and the restaurant's window seats also have views of the lake. The overall feeling is good.
