In 2022, for all known reasons, holidays in Turkey have become not very budgetary... Previously, we tried to choose 5-star Turkish hotels, but this year a tour to 4-ku Larissa got us at the price of last year's 5 stars... We decided to save money and try to go to the 4th place, especially since the region itself - Kemer - was important to us. About 11 years ago I was already resting in a 4-ke in Kemer, but I remember everything badly, except that I didn’t really like the hotel. Therefore, we went to Larissa without high expectations, after all, Turkish 4 stars are about the same as 3 European ones. First things first: NUMBERS. Be prepared that without dollars you will not be accommodated before 14:00. Of course, no one extorts money, they just say that supposedly nothing has been removed, check-in is strictly at 14-00. We arrived early, at 6 am, and while wandering around the hotel, we met a Turkish massage therapist in a hammam, who introduced himself as Misha. He promised to help with the settlement if we sign up for him in the hammam. We did just that, as a result, the number was immediately found. We were settled in the old building, where the reception is located, number 302. The furniture is all very old, but solid. The room is normal in size, there is an old but working air conditioner, a balcony overlooking the neighboring hotel, which was blocked by a fig tree, i.e. in fact, there was no one in front of him. In general, the living room is not bad. But the bathroom was just a nightmare, a small shower cabin was covered in black mold, from this there was a terrible smell. The ceiling was also crumbling. Ancient pink plumbing, but working properly. There has always been water. Due to the smell in the bathroom, it was impossible to stay, so the next day we came to the reception with a request to change the room. The receptionist told us that there is mold in all rooms, except for the new building, but in the new building the rooms are family rooms, and they cannot relocate us from the standard there without additional payment. As a result, we agreed that the maid would remove the mold if possible, and indeed, it was partially removed and the smell decreased. But it was still unpleasant to be in the bathroom. TERRITORY. Small but very cozy and well maintained. There is a swimming pool with a small slide, as well as an area with shallow water for children. There is a table tennis table in the yard, and next to it is an untidy playground where no one played. A dead, decomposing rat was found on this site on the first day, but later it was no longer there. The interior of the hotel is old, but to some extent even atmospheric. A lot of wood, stained-glass windows, stucco ceiling. Those. there is no pathos, but everything is very good. They try to keep an eye on the territory, garbage is removed. Unfortunately, the upholstered furniture in the restaurant and lobby was stained, which is unpleasant. BEACH. It's right next to the hotel which is a huge plus. Sunbeds were always available at all times. In the hammam you can take beach towels without any deposits. Near the beach there is a bar and toilets, showers and a place for washing feet.
