Paloma Foresta

My family and I visited Paloma Foresta in October for my son's 50th birthday. The hotel is in an idyllic setting within a pine forest and adjacent to the sea. The grounds and beach are beautifully maintained. I was upgraded to a junior suite and my room was spacious and spotless. The thing that let's down the hotel are the restaurant facilities. I would say although there is a large selection of food it is often lukewarm and in some cases cold. The bars often ran out of ingredients There is no organisation and tables were often left piled high with dirty dishes which is not the most appetising way to enjoy a meal. The staff are lovely, but overwhelmed We were only able to get one booking at an a la carte restaurant in the whole week of our stay and sadly this was also disappointing due to poor service. I understand that the hotel is being taken over on 17th November and will no longer be a Paloma Hotel. I think this hotel has the potential to be fantastic given its stunning location. Despite all the issues raised my family and I had a wonderful holiday and created some very happy memories.

I don’t know were to begin. 7 of us came here and were so looking forward to this holiday. Unfortunately it was SHOCKING. DO NOT STAY HERE. Unhygienic rooms Falling apart rooms No air con Food is beyond terrible cold. Flies, undercooked, All of us were sick all week All of us had bad stomachs Sewage issues with rooms Faeces from other guests coming up through our toilet The list is endless we complained to our TUI REP grace who was less than helpful. Offered us £150 we are taking our complaint to the top! TUI ARE aware of how bad this hotel has been for months and CONTINUE to sell it.

I recently stayed at Paloma Foresta and had an unforgettable experience, especially thanks to the fantastic entertainment team. A special mention goes to Cagla, whose energy and professionalism made every activity so much fun! She went above and beyond to engage with guests, ensuring we had a great time throughout our stay. From her infectious smile to her lively spirit, Cagla truly stood out and made our holiday even more enjoyable. The resort is beautiful, but it's the people like her that make it exceptional! Highly recommended!

Oh dear oh dear , this review is an honest appraisal , this is not an ultra luxury hotel it may have been 20 years ago but not now , tui should be sued for rating this platinum , its run down staff overworked and being sold off in november so my review will be useless , location is beutifull, staff are superb but overloaded rooms are nice but dated and tired , as is all main hotel , food is very average but not bad , drinks are good but certain premium all inclusive ones conveniently , allways out of stock , the irish bar was closed pool is nice , beach is ok but very aggressive fish which hotel cant help , beutifull grounds , sunset bar lovely but again jaded and tatty in places , the problem is is we had a lovely holiday in a 3 star hotel but was sold 5 star platinum and that is a serious problem , also certain rooms have hideous views will leave a picture to show ,

Overall very enjoyable holiday. Location was excellent, room was great size and service was brilliant. Enjoyed swimming pool and my family loved the beach. I personally thought staff were really friendly and although English was not the best, I knew zero local terminology so you can't hold this against them. Food at A-la-cartes were high quality. The beech lunchtime menu and hut that sold those delicious naan bread type foods were insanely good. Main negatives, the food in main restaurant was average at best. It was samey and usually warm. The teenagers activity room was a bit sparse. It had a great pool table and a couple of xboxs but games were 8 years+ old and controllers were knackered. I would recommend this place and would go back but to get to 5 stars, they need to improve the food in main restaurant.

You get what you pay for! We stayed here for a week in August with 3 children in a villa. The air con in the villa was great and really spacious. It’s a bit tired but not bad and they were quiet, away from the evening entertainment. Room cleaned every day and mini bar stocked. The main pool is busy but we didn’t have trouble finding sun beds around 10/10.30. We did book a cabana most days as it was cooler by the sea and we liked the space. The first day we had excellent service, but thereafter I don’t think I was asked if I wanted a drink once. Also, it’s not champagne they give you but some pretty awful fizz, we declined it after the first day. The snack bar staff are superb and they work so hard. Many told us they work 12 hours shifts for 6 days straight and they still do it with a smile. The food other than pizza is not great though! This was an ongoing theme! Watersports were good fun and we all enjoyed those at not eye watering prices either. The water sports sales man is so nice, chat to him if you see him and break up his day. The spa treatments we had were superb and I would recommend them highly, even the kids chocolate massage! Booking into the Al a carte restaurants were tricky and despite it being the first thing I did when we arrived (before I even unpacked the case), we still couldn’t get into them. We never got into ADA despite moaning, a lot, to guest relations. Lotus was terrible, genuinely worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten. Miserable staff too. Steakhouse was good and nice people, great with the kids. Seasons was awful and all our plates were left uneaten. Finally had a good meal at Saffron. If this is the only one you can book then it’s no loss. Enjoyed it and the staff were good too. Buffet is the same every day and every breakfast/lunch/evening. No labels on anything so not sure how people with allergies coped. Three of us have been unwell with sickness and upset stomach. No idea what from as all ate different things. Guest relations seem to wander around ticking a box by asking if you’re ok but don’t do much when you say if anything isn’t ok. Entertainment was good and loads for the kids as well as adults too. My best advice for guests is to tip little and often. It makes a huge difference to the service you get! Overall it’s a decent hotel that needs some updating and remedial works but it wasn’t particularly expensive and we were generally happy for what we paid. That said, we wouldn’t return until they improved all the food and the hotel has a facelift. Cengiz was excellent at the snack bar. Ibrahim at breakfast.
