Clayton Hotel Glasgow City Reviews

The hotel is located near the Glasgow central station. Rooms were clean and cozy, but there was no fridge in the room and slippers were not provided. Overall, the hotel was good.

Clean and well presented room, the staff were wonderful and hospitable! Will be staying here again in the future

Good breakfast

Room was very spacious, well above expectations! Reception was friendly as well and was very helpful when we accidentally rung the safety rope in bathroom.

Overall it was a good experience.

The room is large, clean and very close to George Square and the subway station

Poor service. The front desk insisted that my prepaid order was not paid. I called the manager to check for a long time before finding out that it was paid. No apology was given.

The hotel is in a very good location, with a front view of the river and just a stone's throw away from the downtown commercial pedestrian street. The breakfast was rich and the environment was very comfortable. I sat there for more than an hour without realizing it. We drove here by car. Although the hotel does not have its own parking lot, there is a Q-Park behind it, which is very convenient. I asked the hotel for a discount code and I can get a 40% discount. Thank you to the Asian lady who patiently taught me how to reserve a parking space. I forgot I'm sorry for asking for your name.

Front desk service is very good

The room was too small and crowded, but taxis in Glasgow are pretty good. Foreigners are very polite and friendly.
