Perfect stay for my friend and I that we were travelling the avenue verte by bike. They wwarmly welmoced us and stored our bikes safely in a dedicated safe area. Room Spacious and clean. Recommended!

After a 75 mile cycle ride from Dieppe en-route to Paris, we stopped for the night in Gisors and were fortunate enough to book into this great little hotel. Directly opposite the Train Station, this hotel is an absolute gem!! The rooms are extremely clean and the bed I had was amazingly comfortable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for a budget stay!!! The Manager even provided me with a replacement Room Key after I lost mine, interrupting him watching the France ‘v’ Portugal game in the Euro’s..!!!!!

Very helpful and service minded owner/ manager. When arriving Gisors, our apartment for the night was closed and it was not possible to contact the owner. The manager at Hotel Moderne made an effort to help us, and finally got us a double room for the night although the hotel was actually fully booked.

The hotel is modern in name only! It really needs a refresh! The paint is peeling everywhere! Quite a few cobwebs above the bed that weren't from the day before. After reporting them, they were removed, telling us that in the countryside there are always cobwebs, that they will come back and that this proves that the hotel is healthy! Still, we could do without it! As for the bathroom, the fabric curtain is not hygienic and there is a strong smell of sewer coming from the sink trap. There is also a 2nd socket missing around the bed. It's a shame because the welcome was very friendly! The train station opposite doesn't bother you at all, we didn't hear any trains during the 3 nights! The electric shutters are nice! On the other hand, the walls are not very thick! In conclusion, for a short stay it can be ok....

The person who welcomed us was very available, to guide us and park our bikes in a secure location. The hotel is simple but well located: free parking near the station. The perfect breakfast. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained and clean. I recommend.

Simple hotel. Hotel which was certainly good in the 70s/80s: establishment now shabby (carpet everywhere, very spartan bedside light, no socket around the headboard, bathroom in its juices from the boom years, etc.) , all accompanied by a very minimalist check-in service (after 7 p.m., it's over, before 4 p.m. not possible), a late lunch from 8:30 a.m. As for the latter, simple (it does the job) but a little sad (no fruit, etc.). Unfavorable value for money (88 euros per night, 10 euros per person for breakfast)... For peace and quiet, ok, but we stayed the night of a Saturday/Sunday. Worth seeing for SNCF traffic during the week, as it is located opposite the station. It’s up to you, but given the weakness of the offer in Gisors…

I came there for a wedding and in Gisors, where there are only 2 hotels, I only spent 2 nights there. Small, simple hotel which still deserves a good refresh (bathroom for example). The person at reception was friendly. I took a single. Clean room, decent bedding. No air conditioning. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. There are free parking lots nearby (next to the SNCF station).

The hotel is dilapidated with a lack of maintenance (door mechanisms that barely hold because every other screw for example, no drain on the sink, tiles coming loose, etc.) The hotel is dirty (better not to move a table in the breakfast room or look in the corners of the room..) The manager is unpleasant and without consideration for customers. We were eaten every night by insects.

I slept in this hotel for one night during a short cycling trip. As soon as I arrived, the manager came to meet me to tell me where to store my bike in a secure location. Once back at reception I spontaneously received advice on where to eat (without having to get back on my bike!). My room is on the 2nd floor (no elevator). It is a good size, very clean and well equipped (TV, Wifi, shower room....). It overlooks the station square but no noise. Comfortable bedding. Finally, breakfast is served in a room on the ground floor. It is classic (with pastries) but as a buffet and allowed me to easily gain the strength necessary for my stage of the day. Bike welcome label and recommended establishment for visiting the city and its surroundings.
