The location is very accesible and it is walking distance to Armenian Street and Penang Art. The room was clean. Highly recommended and can't wait to book here again

The location is really good and the size of the room is great. But the cleanliness was a bit of a struggle. The towels we received when we first checked in were dirty. We found strands of hair in them and had to ask for a complete swap of towels. The towels are also quite old cos there were so many loose threads and frays. We booked the jacuzzi room as my husband loves a good soak with some bubbling but the tub was kind of grimy and we had to clean it quite a bit before we were comfortable to use it. I also am sensitive to dust and I did have a bit of a challenge resting each night as my nose will drip and make it hard to breathe. Our 3 nights was pleasant cos we spend most of our time outside of the room. It is a super good location with the front entrance facing Victoria Street and the back door at Beach street. I think we were using the back entrance more than the front cos it’s just so convenient. There’s also a lot of really good restaurants and street food within the 5mins walking distance and close to the main hangout of Armenian and Canon street. I also appreciate the water dispenser available for us to refill our bottles easily. As long as the cleanliness improve, this is actually a pretty good hotel!

Strategically located in the heart of Georgetown walking accessible to many famous eateries and picturesque stops. Would definitely return for next trip

The room had a bit of smell when I just checked in but the staff was really helpful, she settled immediately. I was allocated to the room on the 1st floor and they have two entrances, both the room door and the balcony, which was a bit atypical, but probably fitting to the design. It took a bit of a walk to the closest food court and was not enjoyable during the middle of the day, even just a 5 minute walk may easily exhaust me. Still, the a/c was quite powerful. However, there is only combined shower and bathing gel provided. Better carry your own ones if you want to keep refreshed.

The hotel is located between Haiqian Street and Datie Street, not far from Chew Jetty and Mural Street. Our room was near Datie Street (the hotel's back entrance), so we could hear cars, but it wasn't too noisy. The room was on the second floor, with a large bed and two separate rooms, making it suitable for a family trip. The sink was inside the toilet room; it would be better if there was a sink in the shower area too.

Location not bad, clean, not noisy, everything is fine. Will book again if come again.

This was by far the worst experience booking a hotel through Trip.com. I have no idea where all the good reviews come from... The towels were stained and had a strange, unpleasant smell, and so did the bedsheets. Although the front desk promptly arranged for staff to change the towels after I reported it, the replacement towels were badly frayed. If I hadn't already booked two nights in advance, and didn't want the hassle of changing hotels, I definitely wouldn't have put up with it and extended my stay.

We had a great time staying at Rare Heritage House Penang. Hotel staffs were all friendly and can even speak Thai! The room was clean and have amenities that needed for traveler. Our room has Jacuzzi which was relaxing! The location was also 10 out of 10 in the walking distance to almost every highlight of heritage sites. We would like to recommend this place and will come back for sure if we come back here.

Quiet and charming, I'm very satisfied.

Good location, nice room and friendly staff, but no soundproofing whatsoever. So be sure to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper or just easily disturbed by extraneous noise.

The location is quite close to the Surname Bridge and the murals. However, there's no elevator, so carrying luggage can be a bit challenging, and the hotel has a lot of Islamic decor. The room is also quite small.

The room cleanliness was acceptable. The location is great, with attractions and good food easily accessible without a car. The customer service staff were very nice.
