The hotel is good and clean, but the service of parking security is terrible, before we check in, one of the security was playing his phone and videocalling with his friend,so he didnt even notice our car, when he finally noticed us after my husband was leaving to check in first, he knocked our car heavily, and said this is not parking area,i said ok,just a second,he is checking in,the security was rolling his eyes and said it emphasisly again, asked me to move it and i dont even have driving license here. One minutes later ,my husband was back with room card,he checked and let us just parking right there!! can not believe there are rude staff in this fancy hotel!

The white elevator is very unique to this elevator. Tho it was slow but I don’t mind bec it so chic with glass door. Very unique indeed! Love it though I wasn’t able to take pic. 😒 +++ white elevator, water refilling dispenser, very spacious room & bathroom +++ location was quite away from the main action but there are 2 bus stops nearby, komtar & chowrasta are 5-10mins walk +++ they provide dental kit, small soap, nice shampoo/conditioner & body wash, mugs, electric kettle, safe, ref, ac was functioning very well, room telephone, tv but i did not use it +++ free wifi was good —- reception is not very friendly except for 1 Indian guy who promptly answers whatsapp tho he mistaken me for a guy at first 😄, the chinese receptionist hardly smiles, indian lady seemed to not know anything when you ask about tourist spots (i think hotel people should equip themselves with some knowledge on tourism. I mean there should be basic orientation by management on this. Times had changed and you need to have these extra customer service, just suggesting). —- i was in the assumption that cleaning is daily but i was told every other day but i still need to remind them about it. Entire hotel can use some improvement in the cleaning — no closet inside the room, you just have to hang your stuff —- my view was a huge wall —- soundproofing is bad, very noisy when people close doors or children running around. You hear toilet flushing from nearby rooms —- it was raining when I arrive and nobody offered an umbrella except on the second day when the janitor heard me. That was appreciated very much. It also made me realize that umbrella is a weapon for solo travellers so that made the carrying a little easier —- towels smell mushy maybe bec of rainy season —- sometimes bathroom had some drainage smells —- food choices was a little limited in area unless you walk for like 5-10mins. Overall stay was still on the good side. I had way worst stays than this. I did enjoy my solo trip to Penang and would love to go back. I plan to stay next time near the street art areas where the actions are. I would still recommend le embassy to other travellers.

The front desk service of the hotel is very good. It will speak Mandarin and Cantonese. It will tell you where the main push is in Penang. In the evening, you will put sugar on the bed. The parking space is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can buy a parking ticket. The afternoon tea is very good. Very good, a lot of food nearby

The location is great. Breakfasts very good. Perfect pool to cool down (cold water, seriously), good choice. For me, the location and the swimming pool (because of my daughter) is ok. I recommend it. But: Zero wardrobes, cupboards etc. We had to keep everything in suitcases and there was not even a towel rack in the bathroom. It is much more important than an extra toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Besides, calls from a nearby mosque are awakened. These are the details that irritate. And the pillows - high and hard. In addition, the hotel complies with the description and you can safely spend a few nights in it.

We lived in a room with a leap. The entire hotel is decorated in a very simple and elegant style, with a touch of color and accessories. Will send an access card to the guests, then took off the shoes and went upstairs to their room. The service was very good. I had an appointment, but we were late, and it was not unpleasant to delay the work. We also called us to the airport on Grab. People were really kind.

Location was good near the jetty and walking distance to all sights but hotel is not ideal if you have mobility issues as there are 30 steps to climb to the first floor and double that for second floor. Check in is actually the shop cashier.. it took me a while to figure it out. You will be carryong all your stuff to your room as there is nobody available to help, so pack light. The room was of a good size but nothing like the picture of the Deluxe room I had booked. Room is ok need a repair here and there but well equipped including kettle and iron. Bathroom is strange... if you take a shower you flood the whole bathroom as there is no shower curtain or cubicle. Make sure you make nbr 1 , nbr 2 or combo before taking your shower. Overall is fair balance of a budget hotel vs cost, nothing more nothing less.

It was a short Grab car drive from my previous hotel to the Ropewalk Piazza Hotel, less than RM5. The whole building is actually owned by Ropewalk Piazza Hotel. Some of the units are rented by the other shops. All the suite is located upstairs. Unfortunately, no carpark is available at this property. So you can park your vehicles along the road next to the hotel. Once you got your parked your car, my advice, if you want to go around the city, use the GrabCar Service. You can pay your park using the apps of PenangParking, which cost only RM0.80 per hour. In their website, there is map guide of suggestion where to park your car Surprisingly, it is only less than 5 minutes walk from Prangin Mall, KOMTAR, 1st Avenue Mall and Chowrasta Market. As I was using bus to go back to Kuala Lumpur, the Bilion Star Express office only 3 minutes walked from the hotel. So convenience. As the hotel is located on the center of heart of the city, it is easy to go everywhere. The check-in process was smooth and with the modern design. A few sofa at the lobby for you to chill. Basically, you only walked through the lobby only during the registration and checked-out. There will no room card provided, instead you will giving the room keylock number. If you see at the hotel building, there are many doors along the corridor, it is actually a guestroom door. You need to opened the door using the keylock number given (no room key/card), and that's it, the door is opened. So, you will need to memorize your key number, so snap a photo of your keylock number card or you can bring a card with keylock number on it. No need to worry if you lost the card. Once you opened the door, there is a stairs welcoming you. It is quite high to be honest. So, all I can say, it is not really suitable for senior citizens, the one need special assistance also the young children as you worried they will fall down. I love the living room, there is a sofa bed, television, microwave, water heater, and fridge. It's a normal amenities for the apartment style hotel. But unfortunately, no kitchen provided. Microwave is really convenience for you to heat up the food. There are 2 bedrooms provided. 1 king bed in master bedroom and 1 queen bed in other room. So actually total of 6 adults can stay in this apartment. So it is worth the price. The master bedroom is really spacious, provided with another television, make up table plus the big size of wardrobe cabinet. All I can say everything is complete inside such as security box, iron, and etc. Another room is just basic, with very comfortable queen bed plus the wardrobe. All is excellent for me. Unfortunately, I was alone during my stay, so I just hang out in my master bedroom as it is so cozy. The bathroom has the luxurious vibes a little bit as there is no bathtub provided but I like the vibes which I can't explain. Love the amenities provided by the Penang Hotel Collections. Love the gold color theme of amenities as its look classy. The rain sho

1 double bed, 1 single bed, front desk is a cute girl who can speak Chinese, it's great, the isolation is Shantou Street, and I will not worry about eating sooner or later. Cheap price, book an extra night immediately. Just don't have an elevator to take care of your luggage.
