Wano Resort Hazu

The building is a bit old, the onsen is quite small, but the food is very fresh and delicious.

It was pretty average. There was no heating in the hallway, so it was quite cold when going to the hot springs or for meals.

While the inn itself is undeniably old, it was clear that they made a great effort to keep it clean. The food was delicious and the portions were satisfying. I would definitely like to stay at this inn again.

The portion of dinner was so big that I couldn't finish it all.

The location is a bit inconvenient; improving the hotel's transportation service would be much better. The dining options are decent. Since there's a hot spring, towels seemed insufficient. The staff service was excellent.

We stayed here with our 3-year-old and 7-year-old. The food was delicious, and there was a small game corner and children's play area, so the children had a lot of fun. At first, my child was scared to touch the owls, but after watching the feeding show, he said he wanted to touch them and interacted with them a lot. When we left, he was so reluctant that he wanted to take the owl home with him. The view from the room and the open-air bath were both beautiful. However, perhaps due to a problem with the app's specifications, we were told at the front desk that even though we had made a reservation with children, it was only a reservation for two adults. It was good that they handled it on the spot, but it would be a good idea to check if you are bringing children.

The front desk staff all greeted us with a smile, and we were impressed by how flexibly they responded to the situation even when it was crowded. The room had a cracked toilet tank and rubbish on the balcony, but we could enjoy the ocean view in front of us, the starry sky was beautiful, and we could enjoy nature, so as long as we didn't mind the little details, we were very satisfied. There were Japanese-style benches in the hallways, which gave it a stylish feel. There were separate restrooms for men and women on each floor. Guests were free to drink coffee and tea. There was also table tennis and a small game center, so we enjoyed the unique atmosphere of a fun inn. There was a decent selection of souvenirs, including the trademark owl goods, which were cute items such as handwritten postcards and handmade key chains. The owls welcomed us, and since they were used to humans, they were quiet and let us touch them. They were so cute! The rice was very delicious! I would like to stay at this inn again if I have the chance.
