Nice hotel. We had a family room which was grand for 2 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space. The rooms though are a little old and run down. Location is fine, less than 5 mins from Eyre square. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. As I mentioned the hotel rooms need an update.

What a lovely location, a gorgeous hotel and the swimming pool was great with the added bonus of an outside hot tub overlooking the sea. My room was 631 with a large king bed, desks, adequate bathroom with bath and shower, seats with table, desk and TV and all the usual facilities in a hotel room. No sockets by the bed though which is something all hotels need to have now but that was the only criticism of the room. Staff where lovely, helpful and friendly although I give 4 stars as check-in didnt happen for 10 minutes due to no staff being at the reception, no idea why but it got sorted OK. The hotel is clean, the room was clean, well presented and very welcoming. I had breakfast which was the normal cooked breakfast buffet, toasts, pancakes, breads, cereals, tea or coffee, juices with plenty of seating options and a view of the sea. The staff were great, the food was good and the atmosphere relaxed. The view gives you a great start to the day. I used the pool which was great. Some families there with kids, a swimming lane, working steam room, sauna and heated jacuzzi. The outside hottub is amazing. It is a must do at this hotel. It was raiing on my stay so the outside tennis court and kids play area werent being used but its worth a mention that they have these. Location feels remote but its only 5-10 minutes from Salthill and Galway by car. There is a petrol station beside the hotel on the main road and a small village. I guess you access the hotel by car, taxi or bus.

A very overdue review but didn’t want to not leave it. Had a lovely stay here in May. Staff were so kind and helpful. Room much bigger than expected (family room) and very quiet – even when we saw a raucous looking hen night setting up and then didn’t hear a squeak from it all night. Lovely pool and whilst there were lessons going on we still had ample space to swim and change. Really enjoyed our stay and felt it was well priced for the standard. Only con is that the buses aren’t as regular as hoped especially through the weekend so we had to take more taxis as expected as town was a hefty walk away (and hire car prices seem to have gone crazy in Ireland!). But will come back for sure. Thank you!

Breakfast line up, buffet, line up for a few minutes, some food lined up after entering ~ experience is not good. The location and surroundings are beautiful and not to be said. There is free parking.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Stayed in a Deluxe King room with the double bed and single. We had some dinner one of the nights in the restaurant and my chicken dish was delicious. It's a bit out of town. On my day of arrival, I got the bus out from Eyre Square but it left me having to cross busy roundabouts at around 5ish. I can't remember the bus number. If i was to do it again, I would get a taxi. Taxis range between 10.50-11 euro one way. I think there are usually taxis at Eyre Square. I got the 10 minutes late non punctual bus, the 407 into the city on one of the mornings. The bus stop is a short stroll away. There is also a smaller shopping centre, the Galway Shopping Centre about 10 minute walk away from the hotel with Eason, Penney's and some other shops while the Terryland retail park is very close to the hotel. I appreciated the vending machines with water and snacks in the evenings! A great idea to have in a hotel. I would have rathered the option for a pot of tea to be delivered to my table at breakfast and the teabags in seperate individual sachets. Breakfast was lovely, a great Irish fry with cereals and fruit to choose from. Different drinks too, orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate, coffees and tea. Overall, a great trip, comfortable and clean hotel with nice and friendly staff.

Spent a few nights here with friends recently. Check in was smooth with a very friendly Aoife . Room was a good size , very comfortable beds and a spotless bathroom with bath and rain shower . The bar food was tasty and reasonably priced , the service was fast and efficient and we did not feel in any way rushed . The staff were friendly and smiling . Plenty of choice for breakfast . We will be back !
