"Great location near the beach, but the bay view from the hotel is only from the 5th-floor windows; ours overlooked the parking lot. On the downside, the water pressure is very weak and the air conditioning is incredibly noisy, which we had to turn off at night. The pool and water fountains are out of order, but the renovations are fairly recent, plus there's a decent breakfast with classical music and a large gym. The Wi-Fi is spotty."

"This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in anywhere. It's like stepping back in time. The room was a bit small, but it was just the two of us so it didn't matter. The bed was very comfortable and well appointed. The shower head system was a bit too complicated and there really wasn't enough pressure for all the different shower heads on it, but I was able to figure it out. Still I would have preferred a simpler shower head. The lobby, the bar, the pool...everything is beautiful and classy. The new renovations look great! Love, love LOVE this hotel!!!!"

"The room was overall clean, but when the toilet didn't quite smell right (yuck) and when I looked there was evidence that the area under the rim hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. We were happy with the location being a bit out of town for the price. The staff was great, the upfront push to buy a timeshare was expected and only took about 10 minutes of our time. Overall, we'd stay again but ask that our bathroom be cleaned more thoroughly."
